@Zero_epyon: But Sony gamers don't even see the point of the Series X because they already can play all MS games on their PCs. Isn't it a good thing they can still play those games but for even less money?

Assuming that all PS5 gamers actually have a PC capable of gaming. Not everyone does.
@Zero_epyon: I don't know man, if someone doesn't have the money for more than one system maybe they should go with the most affordable one.

On here they do, and every one of them is way more powerful than the SeX lol.
It doesn't, it just benefits MS. But I also don't have anything against the move, because MS give everyone a shot at playing their games on the PC. And eventually Xcloud I guess. How could I be mad?
They don't force you into buying Xbox hardware. So if anyone was going to do it, this is the way I'd support the idea.
On top of all this, MS have a good deal with gamerpass. Just saying, it's hard to stay mad at them on this.
And by the time any of the next gen versions of these games come out, which will likely be a couple of years, building a PC to run them won't cost much at all. Or you could get a Series S just to play them, which by then will probably be between $200 - $250 instead of $300.
Sure, it's not the same, but it's not the worst compromise. It's not like Sony who tends to keep everything on their own hardware.
Pretty sure the cows have been saying for years MS has no decent first party studios, they need more first party games etc etc.
well its happened now and the cows are melting down. MS has more first party studios than Sony now, 23 vs 14.
I think it is good for them. This way MS don't need to try and fill gaps in their line up. They can focus on Forza/Gears/Halo and whatever and these other studios can fill the gaps for them. Sure that was the general idea, but it makes a lot of sense.
Bethesda makes perfect sense I don't think elder scrolls or the next fallout will be Xbox and pc exclusives. There's too much money to be had releasing multi platform. It's perfect move for gamepass.

yeah, I am more looking forward to the new fable rather a halo / gears / forza to be honest. hasn't been enough RPG's lately.
Didn't mention it, because they don't do them often. What's so special about the new one are they using a new team or something?
After some thought (not much lol) its helps lems/sheep/hermits make fun of cows, so it benefits a LOT of gamers :)

not much is known. i loved fable 2 & 3 so as long as its same theme british humour, i am happy
A second team at Playground Games, is doing the new Fable.
As I was saying before, now that Bethesda belongs to Microsoft, they are within their rights to do whatever they want with their property in regards to exclusivity. It's different from moneyhatting a third-party dev for exclusives when you turn said third-party dev into a first-party one.
What I wonder however is how does this move benefit the gaming community. What do we gain from that?
I think the main thing we gain is breaking the stranglehold Sony has on gaming at the moment. That's a really good thing because Sony has shown in the past and continues to show that they are very unfriendly to consumers.
What we gained is now Sony can't buy them and can't make deals to force limited or permanent exclusivity for some of their games.
It also sends a message to Sony that if they want to play the game of buying up companies or exclusivity deals, then Microsoft has a lot more money and can just shut Playstation out of Bethesda or any other first party studios if they want to.
This move puts Sony in check and Sony needs to be put in check because they are very anti consumer.
Who cares. As long as it benefits Xbox, that is all that matters to me. The only cherry on top would be for MS to buy CD Project Red.
Literally the only exclusive Sony owns that I like is TLOU. Not to be confused with TLOU2 which was a turd. So I have no reason to invest in PS5 for quite a while.
If Microsoft buys CD Project Red that would be just disastrous news for Sony.
At least Sony will still have Neil Druckmann.
Gamepass is a fantastic deal for gamers. And it just got better. So gamers benefit because they can get a great selection of games for cheap.
What it will lead to long term is anyones guess.
@Xplode_games: It could happen. Xbox has been working very closely with CD Project Red for many years. Even before Witcher 2 Xbox has been backing them. So unless politicians get in the way, I could see MS buying them.
The only way it benefits gamers is the fact that they are coming to Game Pass and people no longer have to pay 60-70 dollars for each game.
Not everyone can afford to buy every new game at launch.
Bingo!
It keeps Microsoft competing with Sony. It would be terrible if one of these companies went away and gaming was basically a monopoly. If one company get too high above the other, they'll get greedy and do whatever like 70 dollar games for example lol.
im a gamer and i have had a good laugh at cows ‘bethesda’ meltdowns
so it has benefitted me.
the FALLOUT over the impending DOOM of losing all these games of their 1 system has cows feeling they have been DISHONOURED..all they can do is PREY MS lets them buy them on PS for £65
HaH
