Can we all Agree Sony won E3?

so now you are all downplaying Sony's good E3 showing?

So if MS had "won", no one would be screaming "MS is teh winner! Sony sucks again! LOL! TCHBO!" ?

but they all kind of sucked bad this year - nothing groundbreaking like last year, no unexpected announcements, no bombshells.

so far this e3 has been boring as hell compared to the last 2. guess it's just getting too hard for anyone to keep secrets :P

The only reason I wasn't too interested in Microsoft's conference is simply because I know about all the games. However, Microsoft spent a LOT of time showcasing their games that are coming out in the next few months. Sony has Killzone :o

And since this is all about the games in the end, I think MS' conference was put together very well.

no its a timed exclusive the 360 version will come out in 2008

really according to IGN (I know) it's console exlusive for the ps3...

Not really. Realtime killzone trailer wasn't anything big? The (slightly) new psp? The new franchise "infamous"? GT5 prologue? (IMO) I though sony's keynote was very impressive in every way...

Yeah they did win, but MS didn't make it hard for them to do so, and Nintendo seems to be keeping more for TGS.

But yeah, E3 was obviously Sony's this year. Haze, Killzone, UT3. Who would have though the PS3 would end up being an amazing console for FPS games?

no its jack trentosn said that it was exclusive to the ps3 this holiday season even though its coming out the same time as the pc version, and followed by the 360 version sometime next year

haze and UT3 are exclusive only for this year, and if they come out this fall, that means 3-4 months of exclusivity. that's not gonna give anyone an incentive to buy a PS3 since it means they can wait a few months and get a cheaper, better console (aka 360), and still get those games.

basically, it's pointless to have exclusivity for that short a period of time

Agreed, as conferences go SONY was the only one that had a DECENT confrence.

You can't win E3. It's a frickin' expo.
