Can we all agree the Wii can at least match Ps3/360 launch and worst graphics...

Yea I remember COd2 looking amazing on the 360, but now that i look at old screens I was surprised. All of them looked like that actually. Some were even worst, but to be fair I chose the first 1 I saw.

They've come a long way in bridging the gap. Especially with those Monster Hunter screens. Prime also looks decent enough.

Conduit's terrible looking though. The art direction's just not good. They probably should've tried a different approach.

Mmm no we cant agree because that isnt true.. As soon as I saw this thread the first game that came to my mind was actually Kameo and it has far better visuals than anything on the Wii..Lets not even mention resistance in the conversation 'cause the difference is even bigger.. I'll admit that even though the hardware horsepower is basically the same as the GC it has been optimized so we see better looking games on it than on the GC but to compare it with a true next gen (or current gen I guess) system is not so realistic..

Comparing, Uncharted 2, Gears of War 2, and The Conduit, The Conduit is about a mile behind the other two. However, what most of the games you showed lack in power they get back in style. Personally, I loved Twilight Princess and Uncharted's styles, but was underwhelmed by Gears of Wars.

To summarize, the Wii can have good looking games, but technically it's like a dwarf in the NBA. The guy can play well, but he'll never be as tall as the other guys.

Very true. Technically, the Wii is barely more powerful than the original X-Box, but even that, it still doesn't go above 480p due to both a laughable amount of system RAM and less processing power.

Even some X-Box titles such as MK: Armageddon & Soul Calibur 2 runs them in real HD (720p).

Your saying that the wii could match the 360/ps3 launch title graphics? Buddy, it's no where close to looking the same. Look at xbox 360 and compare PDZ with like Twilight Princess and see the graphics. PDZ isn't a great looking game but for most part, looks better than all of wii graphics.

If you were buying the Wii for graphics, then you made a mistake. But Wii games can be plenty of fun, and isn't that what's more important?
