Can we all agree xbox one is the best console this gen?

Better mod support, best controller (xbox elite). Has the only exclusives that matter such as Ori and the Blind Forest, Forza horizon 3 and Forza 6, the new Gears. Xbox one S is the only true current gen console because it has a UHD blu ray player. The xbox one S is the best remodel ever.

I don't think anybody can really disagree with this.

I agree. I don't have the One S, I have the Forza 6 blue Xbox one. I have been enjoying NHL, Forza, Gears and Halo. I got to play alot of great games through GWG I hadn't played before so far. The controller works excellent with many games on Steam. Not a bad console so far and I am eagerly anticipating Sea of Thieves, I think I'm going to play both the PC version and Xbox version via Play Anywhere so it should be fun.

The WiiU is not a console.

so since we're talking about consoles only, and PS4 gets the best versions of console multiplats, you're making a stronger case for PS4.

The funny thing about Multiplats is that the better version is irrelevant. The ONLY time its a concern to a gamer is when they have both systems. If you just have one, it doesn't really matter because you don't have the option.

Dedicated servers on all first party games is something that I enjoy as well. As for the best, It depends on the individual, there are currently several consoles on the market and they are all different, so depending on your tastes and lifestyle, there is likely one that fits your preferences more than the others, and it won't necessarily be the Xbox One.

I disagree. There isn't much on Xbox that I really want.

this assumes you bought either system without knowing which console generally gets the best versions of multiplats. for someone who has yet to purchase either console, the case is stronger for a PS4 due to a better exclusive lineup and superior versions of multiplats.

The only exclusive that sony has that isn't a movie is bloodbourne, which is a game that's just made hard as possible to make up for it's lack of story, graphics and gameplay.

You are not trying hard enough.

The folks on this forum believe that most people care about dumb shit like resolution and framerates. But the reality is that the majority of gamers don't care. If the game works it works. Thats all that matters at the end of the day. The system they buy would most likely depend on other factors like what their friends have and what games appeal to them. The Xbox One being the best console this gen is just SW fodder. The best system is always dependent on the person. The other marginal differences in performance are only magnified in these arenas.

i guess its the best 'console'. I lke my PS4, but to be honest, i haven't touched it since after bloodborne came out. I hope it still powers up. my X1 gets more use, but nothing compared to my PC.

I can relate to this. I wish ALL games were multiplat so people can bitch about which game is better rather than which game and system is better.

Yes, I agree that the Xbox One and all other consoles are shit compared to PC.

PC's are a mess. They usually get the worst version of games until they're patched months later. You have to spend thousands on a pc every year to keep up and if steam goes down you're stuck staring at your screen.

Sell your ps4 and get an xbox. At least you won't have a gaming network that gets hacked every other week.

You get what you pay for. If you want quality, you got to pay for it. You can buy cheap PCs too, but they are also shit like consoles. At least you can do a lot more things with a cheap PC than a console. So, it is still better. I recommend people spend a little more so that they can get the proper experience.

So, there is no PC that is available that offers the experience, performance, price and games that consoles offer.

If you want a shit experience, of course there are PCs that will suit your needs at a peasant price. You are underestimating the versatility and scalability of the PC platform. There is something for everyone.
