LOL. Nice try. 4K/144hz is not realistic and neither is 4K/60hz for the demanding games. We still have to wait a little bit longer for even the almighty PC tech to deliver a single GPU solution for those standards. I do not do SLI anymore. So, I am fine with waiting as 1440p/144hz is an amazing experience.

While I admire your troll attempts, it is not a matter of not being able to afford it, but a matter of the tech not being there yet. I don't like to compromise. So, I am not going to start lowering settings or deal with less than ideal frame rates.

@n64dd: 3 1080s would require SLI which is already compromising and Nvidia doesn't even officially support more than 2-way SLI anymore anyway.

Which wouldn't be a problem if it was the source of a bottleneck. I have had the CPU for 5 years and it is still going strong and destroys any console CPU.

Playstation 4 pro has 4k gaming. Maybe you should buy one of those so you can 4k game.

I already have a PS4 Pro and it is shit too. It is not a proper 4K console. I only bought it to make exclusives a little less shit than the base PS4. The Last Guardian being a perfect example.

@n64dd: What the hell you talking about? 4K is just nothing but bragging rights, I game in 1440p/60fps, I don't need a 144hz, monitor, gaming in 1440p/60fps is well worth it for me. 4K is just nothing but bragging right talk, It DOES NOT improve performance or the fun factor at all. It's literally a waste of money past that point. Telling the difference is besides the point and until we see GPU achieving 4K/60fps with no sacrifice, 4K now isn't worth it.

This is the bullshit of modern day PC gamer. I sometimes feel as if the new breed of PC gamers are ex-console gamers and they took the same loyalist bullshit that they have grown accustom to and projected it onto PC gaming.

The fact is PC gaming is garbage and is great at the same time. There is no absolution because a PC is factually not absolute. User experience varies vastly across the board. With that fundamental understanding, everything that generalize PC gaming is typically bullshit whether positive or negative.

Ori and the Blind Forest and halo 5 are the reason I got an Xbox One. I still play Halo quite a bit, but the PS4 has more games I enjoy. Disgaea 5, Grand Kingdom, No Man's Sky, and Uncharted are all games I have enjoyed, so I have to give PS4 the win so far this generation.

I don't endorse shit PCs, but if people don't want to spend much, there are options available. I don't see how any of that is bullshit. I always recommend people spend the money to get something decent that gives you a superior experience to consoles. I have been using PCs and consoles since the 80s. I don't see how your comment of the modern day PC gamer or new breed is relevant to me.

Also I would say the only thing I like about Xbox One is the fact that I love playing Rare Replay on it and it's still the best Xbox One exclusive game I enjoy any other Xbox One game to date besides Master Chief Collection. Xbox One is the least console I use but not the worst console then my Wii U which has failed me for the last time.

It is relevant to you. The idea that people who game on the console are automatically getting a shit experience is nonsensical. This default reaction to console gaming as some how a scourge to ones gaming experience is really bullshit speak. Thats the real issue. Such a sentiment ignores the reality that you can have a shitty gaming experience on PC and have a higher chance of it being shitty because most PC aren't design for gaming but a good chunk of PC gamers use it for gaming.

Consoles can't even do 1080p/60fps properly. The hardware and performance levels are shit. Like I said before, you get what you pay for. Sure, you can have a bad experience on PC, but you should consult someone who actually knows about PCs before buying one. There are options on PC to cater to different standards and needs. What option do I have if I want to play a game like The Witcher 3 at 60fps on console? Nothing. It is not possible. That is why consoles suck. You are at the mercy of the developer and the hardware. If it is not delivering a proper experience, you are shit out of luck. That is why I get pissed off when exclusives like Bloodborne don't run properly. If it was avaialbe for PC, I could get the proper experience.

Aren't the consoles just 4k up scaling and not doing actual stable native 4k. For all we know scorpio might be up scaling too. It might be 5 years before 4k means anything, the content just isn't there yet. The ps5 and next box are gonna be the actual 4k consoles current consoles are for learning to develop on 4k

Your expectations are not the a universal rule. What you may deem unacceptable does not equate to being unacceptable for everyone. Not all games on consoles are clocking in 1080p/60fps but to say or imply that they can't is not being honest. In fact some games cannot go beyond 30FPS even on PC. And yes PC gamers would bitch and moan but that tends to be the very loud minority. This idea that gamers focus on resolution and fps is an enthusiast focus. Lets not forget that. Consoles offer unmatched performance and experience for the current running price of $250. It does what its expected to do and more. You can enjoy every new game without the concern of specs or input compatibility. Can you get more if you go with a PC? Obviously. But whether or not its worth the extra cost is entirely up to the gamer. So, again equating console gaming to a shitty experience is nonsensical.

If you don't care about quality, consoles do the trick. However, if you care about quality, the consoles are shit and not a viable option for a primary gaming platform. That is what it comes down to. I have always said that my only bias is for quality. I don't mind playing a game like Forza 6 on XB1 because the quality experience is there. However, most games on console don't deliver the quality and standards that I desire. So, that is why PC is the best.

I think the Xbox One is wonderful (I just picked up an Xbox One S), and I think you're right about Ori being brilliant.
But "the only exclusives that matter" could only be written by someone who hasn't played exclusives on other platforms or someone who is just looking for a fight. Pick one. :-)

Well i'm not gonna lie, it does seem to have it all, and it does seem more interesting then the PS4 pro. But, and yes, there is a but, in regards to sales, i think the PS4 Pro is still gonna rule. Sony just has had a remarkable reputation for being the console that most standard gamers want, and have, as more of their friends will most likely have.

Say you have 50 friends, 35 of them get the PS4 pro, and the others Xbox 1. What would you rather get ? That is what matters man, the popularity. Even though the Xbox 1 might have more to offer, it still going to be hard for it to come on top of the most known console. But thats just my 2 cents.
