exactly. Many devs are saying the ps3 is better. I rememer when people said the ps2 was not going to be good but sony proved many people wrong then. Sony has been in the console buisness for a long time. they know that its about the long run. and the ps3 has all the capabilites to shine when games advance.

read that, I agree with just about everything that insomaniac dev says. The ps3 has everything the 360 does not. HDD drive as standard, more cpu so more power, blue ray and many other things. the most important though is that sony has been around long enough to build up many exclusive series such as GT. And the ps2 is still outselling the 360. When ps2 owners finally decide to go next gen. they will want to continue the GT series, the MGS series, the R&C series, the FF series. all these different genres.

the PS3 is not dead. Its just getting started and I cannot wait for the REAL battle tocommence when MS finds that they have no good exclusives in this genre or that genre. And they dont have the nessesary power to outshine the ps3.

Now I know Wii sells at 250 like candy...but the software sales are also garbage compared to more expensive 360 software sales...

For the most part, the PS3 is dead for the moment. 2008 is looking bright though... Some good games come out next year for PS3. It might be later than the other two systems but it's still there I guess. But at the same time, 360 and Wii could come out with killer games next year too.brightshadow525

I am very carious to see KillZone 2 in game play. They said it will have duck and over like a third person shooter, something at least ONE should had done by now IMO. It would be cool if you could also look down and see your combat boots.

The PS3 is 1/2 the 360's install base in 1/2 the time with 1/2 the games.

It isn't anywhere close to failing. The big games aren't even out yet. Halo didn't end this war, what else is left in the tank? More Gears? Ninja Gaiden? Alan "Vaporware" Wake?

Mass Effect is the only legitimately exciting game I can see on MS's horizon that isn't a multiplat.

If you really think that everyone who will buy a console this gen has already bought one, you are ignorant, plain and simple.

Halo Wars, C&C 3 and Kanes Wrath, Alan Wake, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 and another Banjo game?

If anything MS has the year of 08 on lock...Sony's biggest titles look to get delayed to 09...

MGS4...FF XIII...I can see these games being pushed to 09 easily... and apparently KZ2 (though in production for 3 years is pre-alpha...)

The 3DO only sold 6 or so million in it's lifetime.. The PS3 has sold over5 million in a year!!! There is no point in trying to compare a 3DO or whatever to a Playstation 3 for 1. We live in different times and 2. There is not as many companies with gaming consoles out on the market.

The PS3 has plenty of games that look very nice that is coming out soon whether you want to admit it or not.

In one year it has released a 20 gig (dropped) two 60 gigs (NA emotion Europe emulation - Dropped) Also an 80 gig with emulation and finally a 40 gig with no BC....

The Xbox has released better models much like iPod releases better models with time...I call it Growth vs Decay...360 grows...PS3 decays...

The price has been bonkers but usually high and multiplats have constantly looked better on it's Xbox counterpart.

Sony has halted it's research on the Cell and outsourced the creation of it aswell.

Blu-ray has proven to be nothing as the whopping 6 hour HS and LAIR proved it doesn't matter.

The price of ps3 games is more than there 360 and pc counterparts (just look at obivion GOTY on the 360 is $20 cheaper than oblvion for the ps3 on the aussie eb sight)

from what i have seen personaly where i live everyone has 360s and noone has ps3's

Laptop computers are incoropating HD-DVD drives into their design not Blu-ray drives. In fact that is a huge market and if HD-DVD gets the upper hand Blu-ray is dead.

The cell is a pain in the ass for devs to work with, you get a better result on the 360 if you spent the sam,e time developing both consoles clearly this is evident in multiplats
