Can we now say the 360 has a worrying 2009 lineup?

So, we are now entering the 4th month of 2009. A major game event has just passed and... well, still nothing for 360 owners.

Are we worried yet?

Cows aren't worried, lems are.

mt guess is that this year will be to the 360 what 2007 was to the ps3. Good but not good enough to stand against fanboys

As expected from Microsoft, they always show their hand last, even though, later than expected, since in the past, they would have shown off more than they have at this point in the year. But they will undoubtedly show something in the near future. If it's the megaton blockbuster we are all hoping for, who knows. Kingdom Hearts announcement is set for next week, something could come out of that, as slim a chance it is IMO.

It is nice to see the doubt build up in just three months into the year. We'll see if that doubt was a good gut feeling or just pulling the trigger too early.

Can we agree to wait until E3 please? Then if theres nothing at E3, cue the doom and gloom threads then because at the minute its just getting boring.-DrRobotnik-

Only in SW are multiplat games so easily discarded. ;)

Fact is, you could only play multiplats on 360/PS3 and still have a fun time at it.... ok, well, I could... if I had to... :P

For me, hoping games aren't announced for a system is just as bad as hoping a game fails.

I have to saythat 2009 has been a disappointment for Xbox 360 owners soo far.

As long as there are people that prefer to play their multiplats on the 360, the lems have nothing to worry about. The only people that truly worry about exclusives are people who troll message boards all day bragging about them.

I own a 360 and I'm definitely looking foward to a lot of games this year...

Lemmings should be worried for there exclusive line up cause if nothing big is announced @ E3, then the 360's Line Up isnt going to match the PS3's exclusive line up.Nonstop-Madness

Seeing all the Lemmings say "Just Wait" is quite funny seeing as how they bashed Cows for saying it.

Well Microsoft had to know this wa going to happen sooner or later. I know there have been some complaints and anger about the fact that some games for the PS3 have taking a while to come out. Frankly though I like that. If one or two games I want to get come out here and there it is a lot less pressure on me trying to decide what I should get.

But is you just keep machining things out and throwing out game after game, then eventually you are going to reach the bottom of the toy box. Not to sound like a fan boy, but to me that seemed to be the Xbox's whole marketing strategy. Get our stuff out as fast as we can. But as a business strategy it sucks if you keep doing it.

But I really could careless. The only reason that I am even posting here is because I am stuck waiting for my next class here at my college and I haven't figured out a way to run something on my college's computers. Like Half Life or something. Any way feel free to disagree and spam :P

Why do the cows take this "just wait" thing completely out of context? Lems used to mock PS3 owners with "just wait" during the majority of the first two years of the PS3 when they had no AAAE. Lems are saying waiting for games to be announced.... They already have a huge back catalogue of games to play, it's hardly like they have none. They're hardly the same thing :S

And yes, it is quite worrying, but so far the year has been very good for 360 owners with the Lost and Damned and Halo Wars (as much as cows might like to cry about how Halo Wars flopped here and how the Lost and Damned is "just teh DLC:cry: ") which are great games, and I don't see any reason why MS doesn't keep this up through the rest of the year.

I can see Forza 3, a Rare title (possibly Perfect Dark 2?) and another GTA4 expansion before the year's end.

GDC is the "game developers conference," where developers talk about how to develop games and related development technology. E3 is the first big game reveal event of the year... then TGS. And really, passing judgement before the year is over is silly.
