Sega re-entering the console industry and MS being blacklisted out. Hell even ifMS wasn't blacklisted out, sega re-entering the console game industry would change everything...for me atleast. I could expect them to put out atleast 10 games like Demon's Souls during the generation.

umm is this a bump from 2005 ? because last i checkes its doing just fine, great actually right now

360 is my least favorite current platform, but it has a whole hell of a lot more than just FPS. It has a great library actually, but in my case its just redundant for the most part.

Exclusives are becoming a think of the past. I won't be surprised if there's a one-in-all console that will allow you to play all 1st & 3rd party games by 2020. It'll happen, albeit not anytime soon.

Oh god... X360 this gen hit PS3 in the face by providing better/equal quality ( first 2-3 years ) games with almost 200$$ less , "Stole" major PS exclusives , had nice momentums with games as GeoW , mass effect etc ....

And here you are now , talking about "quality" exclusives.....

Man , PS3 is dead last for a reason ... PS3 supposed to catch up X360 on sales since 2008 , we got 2012 and still trying...for a reason!!! Dont you think?

So, lets pretend Gears 1-2-3, Mass Effect 1-2-3, Fable 1-2-3-Journey, Halo 3-Reach, Draco, Ryse, Haunt, Witcher 2, Alan Wake 1-2, Halo CE, Skyrim real playable version, Dust, Steel Batallion, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia, Oblivion, Eternal Sonata, Kameo, Banjo, Pinata, Castle Crashers, Limbo, Bastion, Divintiy 2, Torchlight, Forza 4, Last Remannt, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean 4, Gunstringer etc etc dont exist and pretend 360 has no exlusives

Yet, it does have like 10x more exlusives i care about than all other systems combined

and gets 99% of my gaming time, in 2011 i did not play any other system besides a break for Witcher 2 on PC, which i will rebuy in 2012 on 360, every other game i played was on 360 (Dark SOuls, Skyrim, Fable, Bastion, Trenched, Two Worlds 2, Divinity 2, Grey matter, Clash of Heroes, Gears 3, Halo CE, Forza 4, Mr Splosion Man, Rise of Nightmares, Child of Eden, Gunstringer etc)

The 360 gets Halo 4 this year that's good enough for me.

I reckon next-gen Xbox and Sony "heavy-hitter" exclusives will be much alike what the current consoles have (i.e. more Halo/KillZone, Gears of War/Uncharted, Forza/Gran Turismo, ect.).

Xbox will be fine next gen. MS is learning now that you have to have a first party, and that they have to have creative freedom. They have already started buying and creating studios, which will continue as we near the end of this gen. Not to mention all the deals with 3rd parties that we dont know about yet MS didnt because one of the largest corporations in the world by remaining stagnant. They have innovated and created throughout the years. Yes they make mistakes (like trying to run a gaming business like a software business) but they are learning.

I know this will be ignored by cows, but im sure most people can see that MS went through growing pains this gen. They didnt have this kind of success last gen, and this gen you can see that they ran out of steam (first party wise). Kinect will allow them to make more creative games next gen because the audience is wider.

Playstation can do this because PS1 and 2 were huge hits, and casuals had one also. The brand is well known, so games like LBP can flourish. MS has been trying to shake that "hardcore only" stigma for most of this gen. Kinect is a way for them to do that, so it makes sense why they would take it. Do i agree with it? Hell no, but im a mature adult who can see reality (and business ) for what it is.

• Alan Wake XBLA title
• ANOTHER Halo game
• Kinect bullcrap

Then yes, Xbox will redeem itself.

It looks like outside of System Wars, people don't care much about exclusive games. Xbox 360 is receiving the strongest sales out of the three consoles and sales are increasing thanks to great games and its Kinect addition
