So MS says" cloud is the future, the X180 can be 40 times more powerful than the X360 when connected to the cloud so you must be connected at all times and we are sure many ppl will apreciate the value"

... less than 28 days later ...

Who cares about the cloud, just buy our console ... the console will work eitherway ... you dun have to be connected

So now the cloud is gone, which they claimed to be an unlimited source of power ... they needed to find another crap to cover their inferior hardware flaws and suddenly the X180 is more capable than the PS4 in terms of T.flops :? ... after months of testing and many announcments they "suddenly"discovered that their hardware is more capable than they intially thought !!! "wow" that's a miracle

Seriously MS, can you be any more desperate than this ? can they even stick to anything they say? they are just throwing any B$ just to make some fuzz, and it usually works temporarily, just like kinect before. But apparantly consumers snap out of it sooner or later.

Sony was doing the same crap last gen with the PS3. lol!! Microsoft is just doing PR spin. Sony was the KING of this with the PS3. I take all this crap with a grain of salt. The final product and the games are all I really care about. If you get to much into specs, clouds, GDDR5, Kinect, Gaikai, etc... you'll go crazy.

Both Sony and Microsoft will find better performance out of their consoles between now and launch and beyond. It doesn't mean they made it up. The cloud hasn't gone anywhere 300000 servers are still there to be used.

No your can't trust them... They pull numbers out of their ass. Now that ESRAM is now magically faster from a loop hole in how it works. 133 GB/s is what they supposedly got and are saying you can get 192 GB/s "theoretically".

Spec's dont mean squat if the devs dont use them!!! The bottom line is multiplats will be nearly identical just like they were this last gen with maybe a small advantage going to the PS4 in certain cases. These consoles will ultimately be judged on their exclusives just as it should be!! Making a case about a console based on CoD or Madden is just dumb!! Both Sony and MS are going to say a lot of things between now and launch. You can choose what you feel is or isn't factual!!

I wouldnt, Microsoft is copying Sonys 2006 playbook. Its going to take years to repair the damage that was done with the Xbone.

The "cloud' talk I imagine just speaks of the server dedication to users, it might be interesting later if people can install games to their HDD, wipe them off, but since they have rights access to those games play them without the disc, simply download in the background like Steam does, it installs itself and is ready to play, and easily delete them to make room for others with an easily manageable library... though, I worry now such features won't be around since they're getting rid of their DRM which would allow for such. What I'm stoked to see though is if MS offers publishers server hosting privileges for their games, to cut down on lag, and with their servers networked however they're being networked maybe cut down on lag when gamers are gaming from different locations. If they can manage that there'd no doubt be an edge playing games online through their network.

X1 has 128bit memory interface, not 64. PS4 has 256bit.

AmazonTreeBoa

Its a Xbox One after the backpedalling policy. Because MS changed the policy of DRM, used games, region lock, etc we say they did a 180º, and now people call the Xbox One  -> Xbox 180 (X180)
