Can you recommend FF13 on the Xbox 360?

Don't want to be rude, but TC already decide to buy the game, why trying to change his mind, he is only asking how different are both versions.

I'm agree, i mean, i haven't played it, but i know a couple of guys who are enjoying it a lot, besides, it got tons of good reviews, i can take the fact that some people didn't like the game, but i don't think the game sucks is just not for everyone.

Well...curious. I've heard some horror stories about how the game suffers from terrible cut-scenes because of compression, choppy frame-rates in a few areas, low and flat textures along with aliasing issues. IMO, I'm buying FF13 to experience the lush visuals and a stereotypical JRPG plot. Are the graphical problems just exaggerated or is FF13 on the Xbox 360 really the console's very own PS3 Bayonetta port? Having meh visuals is pretty much going to kill the experience for me and please don't call me shallow and pretend that graphics don't matter to you. New_Messege

I find it strange that people can love X but hate XIII, my guess is those that say such were just fairly young for X. IMO the dialogue is better in XIII than X or XII. My favourites were always VI and VIII, and I say XIII is pretty good.

It does look sharper on the PS3 but its not that big a difference unless you own both versions, if you own a PS3 you would obviously buy it on that but the 360 version is no where near as bad as Bayonetta turned out on PS3, its more like comparing GTA IV.

I played on PS3, but a good friend of mine is working through the 360 version now. It looks good. If you were to set the two version side by side you'd know which was which, but by itself the 360 version still looks impressive.

You know, I might have hated the game if I had played the English ver first. I wonder how opinions would change if they had access to a ver with a better script.

FF13 on 360 is like RDR/GTA4 on PS3...

so if you only have 360, why not?

PS3 users still buy GTA4 and RDR even though their native resolution is significant worse than 360 version.

Just get it on the PS3. Either way the game looks graphically pleasing on any console. It isn't that much worse on the Xbox 360 I don't think. The game should be going cheap now. at least it is over here in the UK. As far as JRPGs go this isn't the best game. Your either goin to love it or hate it. Too linear and limited for my liking. With that said I did have some fun with it. So it's not a bad game just not FF standards. Why are they changing FF? Nobody asked for it.

Whats so great about achievements anyways? arent they just numbers added? Trophies actually show you in % how much your done and level you up the more trophies you get. u can always rent it off blockbuster or somthing for teh achievements :P. want high quality game on one disk? only on PS3

Perhaps you need to give it a try on the 360 first and see what you think. I doubt you'll feel the need to go out of your way for the PS3 version when you actually try the 360 version yourself.

There was Luca and Besaid. Other than that, just outposts. I don't see how walking up to people and clicking for a text box is much different from walking over and overhearing. But there were other things related to NPCs in FFX such as sidequests that aren't really there in FFXIII.

as a final fantasy fan , i wouldn't recomend the game period.

as a gamer i wouldn't recomend it either
