Can you XBOTS tell me how killzone was bad???!

Ive dug a copy of killzone out of a gamespot got to say its a great game. I dont get why it got such a bad score. why are ppl saying killzone2 will fail like the first, but the first game was awsome. its a great game. long to and dont know how the online is cause i never conected it, but its good enough just with the story

I never played it, im just going to wait for killzone 2.

And if it's ONLY technical issues, than I couldn't care less. Mass Effect had some, but I loved it.

It was not bad, I thought it was meant to be good, but had framerate issues? Plus killzone on the psp was great.

Played the demo.

It was just another generic FPS. It literally didn't do ANYTHING new.

If Killzone turned out bad their, then it's just a RUDE AWAKENING that you like crappy games.

It was not that it was such a terrible game, it's that after playing so many vastly superior original Xbox shooters it looked like a joke to most people that owned both consoles.

Lol, yeah, I watched some videos and played the demo... I know that doesn't really count, but everyone else thinks it, so why not.

Yep I'll tell you why it was bad.

1. Horrible A.I.

2. The worst most clunkyest controls Iv'e ever had the displeasure to use in a FPS in my life (and ive played alot)

3. Boring story

4. Enemys all look the same

5. Technical Issues

On a good note this games grafix were pretty darn amazing for the ps2.

I think though the reason cows liked this game is because they had about 2 good FPS on the system, so if you're a cow and didnt own an xbox, you wouldnt even know what a good fps plays like:lol:

I played it. It wasn't BAD per se, but it wasn't good either. The graphics were pretty ok. But the slowdowns in MP kind of got in the way. And one thing I hated about the game is the lack of controler options, you couldn't even change the controler configuration. I play in southpaw (legacy? i'm not sure) and the game gave me no option to change the configuration to suit my style, so I didn't really play it that long, although I wanted to. :(Exeed_Orbit

LOL all i had to say is xbot and i got id 13 more ppl than somebody thats funny. i didnt notice any technacal issues sep the sound. and the reviewer said it had good online so Meu2k7 shut up

it was fun. the graphics suck but the rest is solid and the small mistakes will be fixed in the next one

I remember throwing garnades at the enemy and they would fall down 3 seconds after the garnade exploded.

It just needed more work, the AI sucked alot, I would give it an 8

Look, you don't need to bring Xbox into this. Medal of Honour, Call of Duty, Red Faction, Timesplitters, Black, the Bond games, Project Snowblind, and the ports of Half Life and Deus Ex are all on PS2, and every one of them is better then that horrible game Killzone.locopatho

ill go out on a limb and say other than the snow level, it had some of the best level design ive ever played in an fps. something just felt good about it. i actually had fun playing the game.

but i would be willing to bet most people here have never played the game or played it with a negative attitude after seeing the 6.9 score here...i played it before i saw a gs review. it wasnt an amazing game and no where near the best fps ive played but it was fun for a while and the levels were cool

Poor collision detection (You get stuck on corners a foot away) Bad AI (Enemies turn around) Falling through the map Wacky hit boxes (Sometimes you can aim over a persons head and still kill them) Poor framerate Clipping I enjoyed the game but it did have serious problems.Ibacai

thats kind of funny because all that happened to me in mass effect, but thats besides the point killzone 1 sucked hard. But clearly killzone 2 is alot alot differant
