Capcom: Deep Down May Not be PS4 Exclusive

One of the biggest and best PS4 exclusives unveiled at the system's launch conference back in February was the stunning Capcom developed game, tentatively titled Deep Down. Check out the video first.

Undoubtedly one of the best games announced for the next generation as of yet, it was also at that point implied to be a Playstation 4 exclusive. However, today, while revealing lots of information about the upcoming game (including the fact that it is in fact a game and not just a tech demo, and more details on the tech that makes it tick), Capcom revealed that the game may not be a PS4 exclusive after all. They did not say much either way, but they did not dismiss the possibility of the game being a multiplat.

Biggest and best? Since when does a CGI tech demo count as biggest and best? :P And duh, it's Capcom, of course it's not going to be exclusive. Hell, I'll bet by this time next year they'll be advertising DR3 on the PS4/WiiU.

I never thought it would be exclusive. Maybe a timed exclusive but third-party exlusivity in this day and age is pretty much dead (unless money is involved).

Sony should arrange a team to create Demon's Souls 2 if From Software doesn't come back for it. They own the IP and would make a sh_itton of money as a PS4 title.

Capcom doen´t make exclusives. It´s a multiplat developer. So it will be available on as many platforms as possible.

Yeh you are right. But I remember seeing some source that was refering to Deep Down as a multiplat title. So far, I was thinking that it´s gonna be on PC and PS4. So it´s kinda surprising for me that all this time it was considered a PS4 exclusive.

It doesn´t look so impresive. Tomb Raider maxxed on PC almost looks as good as that. So those graphics are not surprising or anything like that.

Its made by capcom, so Deep Down may not be any good at all so it doesn't even matter.

Or the demo just ran on the beast of a PC, and a final product will be downscaled to fit PS4 hardware specs.
