January 27th was when Capcom announced the total shipped numbers for Resident Evil 7. Which Capcom called a "solid start". But it appears not everyone thought the same. Immediately after the numbers were announced, shares started to fall. Shares of Capcom on the Tokyo Stock Exchange ended today, January 30, down by more than 3 percent.

The numbers compared to last were Resident Evil 4 shipped 4 million first week and Resident Evil 6 shipping 4.5 million first week. Who knows what 7 will end up selling, but lets hope for the best. February 1 is Capcom's earnings report, so we may find out more then.
