RE7 on PSVR is f*cking awesome. Capcom should do this. The PSVR has sold over 750,000 units as of the end of last quarter. Heading for a million. Capcom is one of the first major companies to jump on board, and more will follow. Whether or not you care for VR matters little. It will gain traction.
Proof?
Samsung Gear VR came in first for the final quarter, with PSVR in second, but you have to remember that Samsung's unit is under a hundred dollars, and is basically a phone app unit. The most expensive VR headsets sold considerably less than both Samsung VR and PSVR. There are more articles out there. And, yes, these are shipped numbers, but regardless they were sold. For VR across the board that is what is available at this time. I'll just post the first to pop up:

From the article:
"Breaking the numbers down further, PlayStation VR came in second place, shipping 750,000 units, while HTC Vive shipped 420,000. Oculus Rift, meanwhile, only shipped 250,000.
Those numbers are actually pretty impressive for Sony. The console-based VR system only launched in October, so 750,000 units isn't anything to sniff at."
