Ok, so RE4 sold better on PS2 by half a mil.

That is pathetic considering PS2 has 5 times the fanbase of GC

I guess Capcom is willing to gamble on losing money with almighty Sony for whatever idiotic reason :roll:

Also, hasn't it been said time and time again that PS3 is a pain in the butt to develop for and that games have to sell a bunch for the publishers and developers to see profit?

Isn't it obvious.. they come into an arrangement with Sony/Microsoft to keep the games exclusive. Exclusives help sell a system

if they can release Dead Rising in the summer for the 360 and they think it did well enough , then why couldn't dmc4 sell well enough for them in q4 for the ps3 ?

I know, they want MGS 4, DMC 4, FFXIII, Tekken 6 and other PS3 exclusives but yet they purchased an Xbox 360. lol.

that's their good right.. i don't mind. I thought RE4 was on of the best games i played. my point is that Capcom makes a lot of great games. i don't care on which console. I play the game on the console it is best on (so RE4 on the Cube).

Ok, I like many of Capcom's games.

With that said, I have a major issue with them.

Why on God's green earth is Capcom only releasing Devil May Cry on PS3 when sales are better right now for the 360 and Wii? 

When Gamecube's sales were poor, Capcom released Killer 7, Viewtiful Joe, and RE4 to PS2 because PS2 was a better selling platform.  Well, guess what?  Wii and 360 are better selling platforms than PS3 yet Capcom has suddenly decided to remain "loyal" to the almighty Sony for some strange reason.  

My question is why?

You do realize that the PS3 hasn't even released in Europe yet right? That won't make it pass the 360 or Wii in sales, but it will definately sell alot more consoles. As long as there's a good amount of consoles out there, they will release their games exclusively tto PS3.

Because Devil May Cry series is known to be on the Playstation 3 brand..why would they want to release on the 360 where devil may cry fanbase is with the ps3...Do lemming want to lose exclusive to lost planet and dead rising?? it seem like it when they beggin for devil may cry for the 360..Lemmin can keep lost planet and dead rising..lost planet was ok game and dead rising was very repetive game..all you do is kill zombies..
