Did i say i was Hardcore? i wouldn't even know what makes a hardcore gamer. I play games for about 15 hours a week and buy games based on reviews and demo's, if that makes me hardcore then so be it.

You have been implying that you are hardcore by stating how much you despise casuals.

You don't know what makes a hardcore gamer but you can spot a casual with ease?

Well TC get over it, people play what they want to play.As for hardcore gamers (dont make me laugh) most who think they are so are anything but hardcore. And by the way if it wasnt for as you put it casuals there wouldnt be any consoles because the market would be to small.

I just say stop complaining, and be thankful we have decent games like OB, WiC, Crysis and the like, instead of hundreds of Halos, GeoW, and AC.

Me too. Just because one is on a game forum it does not mean one is hardcore because they post all day and read endless amounts of opinions instead of playing games. I also dislike when posters over-anylize every little aspect of the gaming world and think that makes them teh hardcore.

Agreed. No matter the system, there are always people who buy games based on ads, instead of quality.

On Wii: Why are people buying Carnival Games and Mario Party 8 instead of Zack & Wiki and SMG?

On 360: Why were there three people on my friends list that were playing Turok?

I think that by 'casuals', you mean people that have lives, jobs and girlfriends. BTW, a 'hardcore' gamer is a nerd that has no life, is a developer or something and is scared of girls.

The games created will continue to funnel towards similar remakes, simply because there is a.) very little to no originality left in the world and b.) we as consumers don't want to spend 60 bucks on a game then find that it just sucks! Seriously, I don't see people, especially now a days not doing some sort of research before they buy there games! As a matter of my opinion the reason we see the same'ol crap over and over is because no one wants to take a chance. The DEV's don't want to take a chance creating something that just wont sell and gamers don't chance there precious Mullah!
