[QUOTE="timbers_WSU"] Man I am basically 80% Lem and 20%Sheep and I am telling you CBOAT is right about 75% of the time. The only thing that bugs me is he was talking about having yield problems and Microsoft was doomed and it was gonna effect the hardware but in his latest thread he says the problems are still there but it is normal and can be fixed. So why get jimmies tangled if those problems are normal in the first place?timbers_WSU
I don't really think you needed to be an insider to know Microsoft was going to have manufacturing issues.
The spec leaked talked of a 5 billion transistor APU. That's pretty damn big.
What happened was Sony caught them by surprise with the hardware specs and Microsoft has had to rush to catch up. All Microsoft had to do was say "We are gonna work on the system and give you more info later or we had to delay the launch by 3-6 months but it will be worth it." Instead Microsoft went Team Dipshit and screwed up over and over again. And now they are tweaking hardware that they more than likely have been tinkering with and adding on to just to do a quick catch up. Microsoft will not release another broken system. But I bet there is a shitload of updates in the first 6 months. Clear the HD space.Microsoft failing this gen will be great for us gamers. Microsoft will learn their lesson like SONY did this gen and they'll rebound. The only thing we should be worried about is if the xbox ONE sells around the PS4's numbers. It'll send the wrong message to the higher-ups @ MS.
I expect Microsoft's next console to have 1 memory pool with very high bandwidth throughout. The eSRAM screwed them over like how the CELL did with SONY.
