The spec leaked talked of a 5 billion transistor APU. That's pretty damn big.

Microsoft isn't going to sit back and watch their console get destroyed saleswise. They're gonna do some moneyhatting. It'll sell worse than the PS4 probably, but it's definitely going to sell more than 30 mill. That's how much the original xbox sold. I also expect Microsoft to actually start investing in 1st party studios. They can't rely on multiplats now, since the PS4 has superior specs.

I bet my ass that Microsoft is already doing R&D for the Xbox Two/720/whatever and is already building drivers for it. They're not gonna wait until the last minute like they did this time.

No, the DDR3 RAM choice was the xbox ONE's achilles' heel.

Microsoft needed a way to ensure that the GPU wouldn't be bandwidth-starved, so they used the eSRAM. Even if they didn't include kinect or the DRM crap they tried to shove up everyone's anus, they'd still have manufacturing and hardware problems.

I think you have to be delusional to think the Xbox One will be a failure. Its not going to fail. Will it sell better than the PS4? In the US I think it will be close and could even be in the XB1's favor, but worldwide I doubt it. Still it will have massive sales and will do well.

Sony came into last gen arrogant as F with a ridiculous price point and mindset and didn't change a thing with public backlash. They struggled at first but eventually found their footing. At least MS has reacted to the negative reactions and actually made changes listening to the consumer. I think they will have a MUCH better start than the PS3 did. Saying that MS will flunk out of the console game is just fanboy hyperbole.

Edit: On the topic of the dump by CBOAT, I don't trust anything this dude says really. However one thing I will be really angry about is if MS puts out a Kinect-less SKU early next year. Now THAT would be a ridiculous 180, and would fracture the Kinect install base and basically render the thing useless or on par with what Kinect is this gen. The rumors of this alone make me want to wait it out and see what happens early next year with the XB1
