Pokemons main advantage is its mainly a handheld series, which helps out its easy and simple gameplay and design. You can play it for 2 minutes or 2 hours and get something accomplished. I just bought a PSP and playing MGS:Portable Ops is a pain in the ass without being able to save mid-mission, completely kills the mobility of the game. I think thats the problem with Pokemon on consoles, sure people will buy it because of its name, but sitting down for a couple of hours and playing it on a console is very different from playing it on a gameboy/DS.
