Vista is dead. Get over it. I can't stand it, keep getting errors trying to install SP1 on this crap. They should reimburse Vista buyers with Windows 7 at half cost or something. Or free. lol.
So how does downloading operating system betas work... Do you just download it and you have it forever? Or is there some kind of time limit.. Does the beta get updates? How many features will it have compared to the full version?

Vista is perfectly fine but has interface limitations that Windows 7 fixes.
The "Vista sucks" belief is LONG gone and incorrect. Vista is not only as fast as Vista(for a Vista capable PC you get basically the same performance on both XP and Vista), but better interface wise. The primary problems were fixed long ago, and people who bash Vista haven't used it in a while...

I know, I have never had problems using Vista. I have actually enjoyed it just as much as XP. I don't see why everyone seems to think it is terrible.
How is MS going back to their old business model somehow them crapping all over Vista?
3 year cycles is what MS has done since they began. Vista was delayed at least 3 times resulting in a 6 year cycle for XP which was a MASSIVE anomoly.
And the Vista hate was only present BECAUSE XP had lasted so long. It was on Service Pack 2 by the time Vista came out, meaning the OS was incredibly stable and people had forgotten how TERRIBLE XP had been at launch.
XP was FAR worse than Vista. I remeber getting 7 BSOD's in 2 days when I first got XP.
