A game flopping on system wars is supposed to be entirely dependant on the score hyped by the majority. If it is hyped AA, and scores AA, it is not a flop. Also, if only a few people hype Banjo AAA, and it scores AA, then those people are owned, but the game overall is still not a flop because those few people who hyped it AAA are not a part of the majority.

I don't have enough faith in this title to hype it AAA. RARE's 2 sequels over the last few years have scored worse than their original titles...Conker and PDZ. I still can't believe PDZ scored AAA though. But, even so, it scored nearly a full point lower than Perfect Dark. I'm hyping Banjo AA.

Wrong. After the demo, a lot of lems including myself weren't that interested in the game. A demo of Banjo will be out before the real game is out, we'll find out than whats the chance of flopping.

Unless you're like me and don't care if it flops as long as it is fun. I'll preorder it soon.

oh come on, Too Human flopping was not suprising in the least....I mean I keep reading how most Lems knew it was trash months ago.

But this game being priced $39.99 at retail will help it immensly when being scored on sites. If it was a typical $59.99 sale price, yeah it would probably flop. Right now it's probably going to get AA (8.0 probably) just because the price is great.

Did you read that descrption from a box or do you work for MS lol? Exactly who yearns for an open world to fly/build your unique vehicle on a previously legendary platform franchise. From what I've seen people yearn to kill stuff with guns in 3rd and 1st person shooters....hence why Gears 2 will make people ignore this game. Although the pricing is nice so it might do a little better than I thought in sales.
