[QUOTE="Lonelynight"]Thats not really a good PChamidious
It still kicks your PS3 and 360's A**
Not really no, those cards are severely underpowered..every single one of them. They were never intended for gaming and the 7800GTX-based RSX kills them. BTW, I'm using this so I could really care less about DX10.
[QUOTE="DriftMax"]an 8500 is one of the worst DX10 cards you can get, it doesn't compare to whats in the ps3 and 360Redfingers
There are two of them.
Doesn't matter..if I'm remembering correctly a 7600GT outperforms those in some ways.
On the other hand, GeForce 8500 is said to end up at about 2200 points with a Core 2 Extreme 6800. This is slightly better than the current GeForce 7950GT, 7900GS and 7600GT.

Well, these benchmarks seem to say that it outperforms a 7950 GT and 7900 GS in single card mode. With SLI, it should achieve respectable performance.
Considering that a 7950 is at LEAST comparable to if not fairly superior to both the RSX and the Xenon, I would go ahead and say that the 8500 is no slouch and these PCs are definitely worth the amount of money you're paying.
But, then again, I'm getting a 3526 with my OCed 7800 GS with a Pentium D 2.8 Ghz....and that doesn't make any sense, since they're both using 3Dmark06.

Try reading what he links to next time:
"We have some preliminary scores for you at this point of time where its performance is slightly better than the current GeForce 7600 GS series. Its 3DMark06 scores (1280x1024) stood at 22xx and 3DMark05 (1024x768) scores stood at around 42xx on a Core 2 Duo X6800 processor. Its DX10 performance is yet to be seen. 8500GT will be priced between US$79 to US$99."
Its a joke that anybody would think that they are better than a 7950.
