Chronicles of Riddick fans rejoice....It is coming to 360, AND PS3!

That is absolutely kick-ass. I LOVED Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. It looked superb to begin with, so I cannot wait how it'll look after an overhaul. And if the jaggies are removed...*drools*

Speaking of riddick; All those who think Vin Diesel should run for president, say 'aye'

I kid you not, page 36 of the new Game Informer with COD4 on the cover. I was shocked when I read it as well, as I have been hoping that they would at the very least next-gen the game, and release it for next gen consoles, and I know that I am FAR from the only one who is glad to hear this news, as that game is simply killer all the way around.

riddick in the next gen heck riddick looked like a  next-gen game back when it was released but as we know far cry Predator looked about as good as a 360 game but we all know how far cry instincs predators graphics were hardly an improvement instead of doing what the first x-box farcrys did for the x-box which was streaching it to the limits samse thing with Spilnter cell

Though I'd prefer a sequel

In the new Game Informer, there is an article saying that Star Breeze is going to give Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay a next gen overhaul, add in a new level, and release it for the 360, and the PS3 baby. This was in my opinion one of the top 3-5 games on the Xbox EASILY. The graphics were already bad ass, can you imagine how killer it is going to be on the 360, and PS3?;)ironcreed

Ack, I have this game for my computer but could never play it because of the graphics card incompatiblity. I can run Doom 3, Far Cry, CoD2 but my computer refuses to run this game. I'm missing out.Blackbond

I'm not sure he owns it, but he did help with the game developement--and yes, he is an avid gamer.

Hell yeah. It would be killer if they started the new movie off, right where COR left off....with him sitting on the throne, as the new leader of the Necromongers, after "keeping what he killed" by killing the Lord Marshall. I wonder where in the hell they would go from that point on? They have to make another movie, as that ending just left you hanging, and wanting more in a major way.

In regards to the new revamped game, the article does not specify a release date, it only says that they are going to give it a "considerable graphical overhaul", add in a "new chapter", and release it for both the 360, and the PS3. Sounds good enough to me.

Good deal, and hopefully it will stay as a release for this year as well. Yet one more game to add to the ever growing list of must haves.

Now all we need is a sequel to the movie and we'd be set.
