Chronicles of Riddick fans rejoice....It is coming to 360, AND PS3!

Trust me the game was like the Best XBOX game of all time, next to halo IMO.

Hmm the average Critic(People who get PAYED to rate films) on average gave it a 28/100.  So I guess mine and the people's opinions that matter have a better taste in movies than you.  Could you imagine if Zelda,GTA, or Halo got a 28/100 hahaha.

The Cronoicles of Riddick had a better SP than HL2 in my opinion, the fact its not on the PC is a let down, if they will do it, it needs multiplayer.

However, darkness looks good and original, can't wait.

The Cronoicles of Riddick had a better SP than HL2 in my opinion, the fact its not on the PC is a let down, if they will do it, it needs multiplayer.

 

However, darkness looks good and original, can't wait.

id rather a sequel. I already played riddick on the xbox (and pc for that matter). The xbox version had basically xbox 1.5ish graphics (aawesome for the time). The pc version was a tad prettier (but came out a bit later)Educated_Gamer

Still, we do know the gameplay will rock (being a remake), and if SB could make those graphics on an xbox... imagine what they could make on the 360 or PS3!

I think i'll be purchasing this quite quickly once it's out.

Actually, a Starbreeze developer posts on teamxbox and when this topic came up, he would neither confirm nor deny it. Take that for what it's worth.

I loved the game and the movies, but I want a sequal... not a remake.   You sure EA ain't developing this :P  seems like a cheap cash run.

O well.  I will skip the remake and await the sequal.

I don't really think the world of Riddick could handle an additional layer of content at the moment, not until Vin gets around to making the film after chronicles.

I personally thought that other than the multi-player of course, CoR was a better game than Halo period....1&2. But as Demenia said in an above post. This game will fly under the radar of most, along with many others due to all of the casual titles stealing all of the hype, and spotlight. It is only the kinds of people like the vast majority in here that can/will appreciate titles like this. Too bad for the rest, who only look forward to hype games like Halo 3 (not saying Halo sucks either), without ever taking the time to consider anything else.

Don't get carried away now. The physics in the game weren't that great. I'll be the first to admit to that. I'd like to see characters not fall over and go "Jesus on the Crucifix" on me.

I'll get it. CoR was one of the best games of last gen. I only wish they would actually make a new one for next gen systems, aka PS3 and 360.

In the new Game Informer, there is an article saying that Star Breeze is going to give Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay a next gen overhaul, add in a new level, and release it for the 360, and the PS3 baby. This was in my opinion one of the top 3-5 games on the Xbox EASILY. The graphics were already bad ass, can you imagine how killer it is going to be on the 360, and PS3?;)ironcreed
