thats what i thought but people on here are saying it is a sequel. This isn't a sequel.
It's the same thing as what they did with the PC version.Â

For all you EST peoples, Game Head is on right now and they'll have the first look pretty soon.Â
I liked Pitch Black better than CoR if for no other reason than because I thought it felt a bit more sincere. I mean, PB was made for only 20 million bucks or something like that, and it became a cult hit. CoR in some ways seemed like it was so big budget that they forgot much of what made the first good. But still, I love Chronicles of Riddick (especially the director's cut), and will defend it to no end (just short of killing people with tea cups when they call it bad!) I really hope that someday they can make CoR: Underverse, even though CoR didn't bring in quite as much money as it probably should have for a movie of its budget.
Anyway, the announcement of this game is certainly good news, as is any news from the Riddick world. But is it a sequel, or a "premake" (port/remake hybrid)? As much as I love Riddick stuff, I never actually got to buy Escape from Butcher Bay, so now I need to know if I should go out and buy it to prep myself for this new game, or wait for this game if it's a premake.
