Chrono Trigger is a 40 dollar port. You can't be series...

Why so series?

I do not approve of Square Enix taking advantage of its fan-base, even though everyone else does. It should be 8 dollars on the VC. There's no reason why it should still cost 40 dollars after all this time. Best game ever or not, I still will refuse to buy this game for 40 dollars because Square Enix is greedy as ****, and I won't support their idea of porting games from the time when Michael Jackson wasn't a child molestor for that much money.

This is more of a poll question, though. My opinion sucks. What do you think?

Maybe if it would sell as well on the Wii, they would.

Besides, even if people know they're being cheated, the only lackluster part of the game is the graphics. If fans are to be believed, its quality is as good as most RPG's today anyway.

That port is still cheaper than try buy the original Snes version from eBay.aroxx_ab

Too bad theres like a dozen other ways to play it for much cheaper.

This is a rip off, by any defenition, nostalgia corrupts memories, there have been dozens of amazing RPGs since its release.

I'm in the second boat, but I'm not going to paddle my way to shore and use the extra energy when there is a man one hundred feet above me in a helicopter that could easily throw me a rope to climb up.

Yeah, because if over a million people buy Chrono Trigger, it will give Square Enix the message that they can keep pulling this crap. But if only... 1k people buy the game, then Square Enix will rethink their strategy.

And this has to happen for more than just Chrono Trigger.

To be honest, I play most handheld games at home. Hell, it's probably 99.9 percent of the time, too.

It was only thanks to Sony of America/Europe policies that we got the game in a bundle and at a cheaper price tag.

Maybe it doesn't apply to this game, but the final fantasy games on the DS that they rereleased were completely redone in 3D and such that it made it more worth it.

I don't buy Soda because Soda exists to people who don't know the word Pop.

I don't Pop because it is a massive rip-off. Yeah, I know... You totally did not see that coming. Also, I hate Pop.

On top of that, it's a lot different for food because food rarely ever has price-drops over a number of years. Games do. Games also advance, while food typically doesn't... If it does, then I'm wrong, but not as much I'm sure.
