Lol. I can picture Kratos receiving looks of awe from the current Mortal Kombat characters as he describles to them the fatalities he performed on the Gods of Olympus. zaibutzu

Story line should be Kratos as the boss and only unlockable after you defeat him..... The Gears guy should be playable from the start. AAA written all over it.

gears of war characters are not important or iconic enough to make cameo appearances in other games. kratos is an iconic character, master chief would fit in. i cant even name a gears of war character and i played through half of the first game.

mastercheif would be cool. He is kinda superhuman, so he could take alot of damage.

I don't get why people think it would automatically be a COG. Why not a Locust? Why not General RAAM or Skorge? They'd both fit in really well with the MK universe. If they use RAAM he'd have to be the tank character and if they use Skorge... C'mon, don't tell me you don't think some air-flipping alien with a dual-chainsaw staff wouldn't be freaking awesome in a Mortal Kombat game.

To everyone saying Kratos is "too powerful" when compaired to the MK characters. You need to be reminded that Sub-zero and Scorpion both went toe to toe, one on one with Superman. :D

I personally think both the Arbiter from Halo and Skorge from Gears Of War would be some pretty great choices.

I have no hate for Cliff. Even though I believe he opens his mouth too much, at least he can back it up with great games. The guy from Lionhead, though, that's a different matter. He really needs to shut it.
