Cliffy B asks PC Gamers to forgive him. Admits PC is superior and he was wrong.

Nobody cares cliff, you will go back to crying when your S*itty game flops.... you destroyed your own decent PC franchise in favour of the Gears of War fad.... your latest game looks like ass. you are like Crytek, only useful for your engine now.

Opinions can change a lot over the course of a gaming generation or two... A lot of Consolites who were slagging off Hermits one or two generations ago eventually became Hermits themselves.

Ok: Warface (F2P PC shooter), Ryse (Kinect game) and Robinson (VR game) all sound like awful ideas. Because it's just Crytek going: "Hey, let's go with the trends"

Instead of ... I dunno... like they used to do and offer innovations in the FPS genre (Far Cry and Crysis 1 were really unique experiences). And actually SETTING the market. Look at how popular Far Cry is now. Look at how popular open world games/FPS are now.

They kinda helped start that trend and they were too stupid to realize I guess.

May sound harsh but I loved all their games up until Crysis 3. And I still liked Crysis 2 (good gunplay) and Ryse (nice setting).

Its 2015 almost 2016 PC gaming was not the same back then as it is now much has changed.

Cliff shit where he eats when he said that, and now he is realizing he needs to clean it up so he can eat again. Only the shit has dried up, and it was on rug. So now you have this embarrassing brown spot on your rug, you have to eat off the rug, and every time someone sees the spot he has to go "Oh yeah, I shit there once. Now I eat off it".

The smell is long gone, yet it remains in your mind still. So every time you put your meal down, you see the spot. The spot reminds you what you did, and what it smells like. As you eat, you smell it. Your food taste like shit. Because of the spot you made.

I Guess what I am trying to say is this: thank you Cliff for your good games.

Putting his money where his mouth is though would you him to not release them game for PC?

They can take a clue from Crytek biting the hand that fed them worked out so well for them oh wait there a formal shell of themselves that has to settle for a bag of stay exclusive money from Sony how the mighty has fallen shame i actualy did like there games alot especially the Crysis series.

I mean, just because I'm "savvy" enough to know how to pirate doesn't mean I do... I haven't done it since I was a shitty teenager, and back then I was doing it with a mod chip in my xbox and a DVD burner, not on PC.

He wasn't wrong at the time lol. PC gaming has come a long way imo. The man has been involved with some good games, so I'll give it a chance, but so far even the name "Lawbreakers" is throwing me off lol.

P.S. If MS offers him a contract for that game he'll leave our asses in the dust lol.

That certainly come off that way. I enjoyed Unreal one of the best games from the late 90's, was totally blown away by it's graphics. Would love to see Gears 2 come to the PC. Instead of saying that PC Gamers pirate games why didn't just say that, "We don't have plans to bring Gears 2 at this time". That would have suffice.

Let's face it, if it weren't for PC Gamers Epic wouldn't have been where it is now. That's where they made their name.

Yeah Epic have released some amazing games, loved those LAN-partys back in the days with Unreal/Tournament. But i cant take Cliff serious, he is just like a businessman that speach whatever fits what he working on.

Was so funny hear him talk so good about Battlefront at the game awards, didnt want to step on any toes for possible future relationships.

You shouldn't call PC gamers scrubs. That's usually lingo for competitive/online gaming failures/noobs. And we know how PC dominates the entire competitive and online scene.

As I was watching the game awards the other night and as soon as cliffy said that I said to myself....some idiot will post about this with his tongue hanging out oozing like a mad man. Turns out I was right.

Not only did his games gain no traction and die, but so did his studio.

Another Peter Molyneux of the industry, showing that it's not one person that makes the game, but a whole team who make games successful, I hope this experienced knocked CliffyB down to earth a notch or two.

@JangoWuzHere: Agreed. He was right back in 2008. There were a lot of gamers and media proclaiming that PC gaming is dying. Yet PC gaming made a comeback and became bigger than ever before, driven by immense growth in Asia, the rise of Steam, and the F2P model. Things have changed a lot in the last 10 years.

Piracy has always been a thing with PC already from day one. It was never a excuse why sales tanked at a certain point.

Ignorant publishers and developers where and time proved that to be right.

I find myself slapping my forehead and going "what was I thinking!?" for half of these necro threads lol.

It's like when you find a paper you wrote from when you were a kid and you got an A+ on it, but you read it as an adult, and you just want to cover it with corrections in red ink :D
