are you talking about gameplay or graphic? if it's about graphic then you are correct but if about crysis owns every game on a console that you mention. then you are an idiot.Why do console owners continue to try and claim Crysis has been beaten by games like MGS4 and Gears 2???
If you have a fully beefed up PC (which i dont), nothing can touch Crysis. There are certain games that maybe slightly better it in terms of art style but, on a technical level, it blows most other stuff out the water.
Also, enough with the MGS4 argument! Yes, during cutscenes MGS4 has some great animation, but during gameplay (which is what is most important), the movements look rigid and unrealistic.
Yes, it's nice that other games got a chance at the graphics award this year, but don't go thinking that MGS4 and Gears 2 have some how beaten Crysis.
Oh, and I am not a PC fanboy type... I own a reasonable system but it's not a gaming PC. I do most my gaming on the PS3
The only bad thing you can say about crysis is that MOST pc gamers have not experienced it in its full glory due to hardware limitations.

[QUOTE="EZs"][QUOTE="bethwo"] I agreeKrazyKenKutarag
Yes I agree too, because GS said so.
I, too, agree. I used to think Crysis looked better than MGSIV after playing both, but Gamespot showed me the error of my ways. ALL HAIL GAMESPOT.
I was also a doubter of the word of Gamespot, but this year's GOTY Awards, with it's epic nominee list and flawless choices for awards, showed me how wrong I was.If you look past the graphic buzz Crysis is just another FPS that looks nice. You need more than awesome graphics to make an awesome game.pp222So in other words, you're one of those guys who hasn't played Crysis. It's understandable, you don't have to lie about it.
Oooo look at crysis graphics there so amazing. Don't mind the shallow gameplay and lack of modes. >_>Vexx88So... What FPS has less shallow gameplay than Crysis? Enlighten me.

Are you crazy? What animations does Crysis attempt? Hardly any considering it's a FPS. You don't hold up people, interrogate them, pat them down, knock them out, or slice their throats open with the knife. And the movements don't look rigid or unrealistic that's clearly a lie.Why do console owners continue to try and claim Crysis has been beaten by games like MGS4 and Gears 2???

Actually you can pick enemies up, through them, knock them out, etc...

While that is true you aren't seeing realistic animations for such actions, you don't see your character's entire body bend, curve, lift, drop, or throw. I'll give you the following from vgchartz to better explain what I mean (MGS4 won best graphics and their runner up was crysis btw), "To win the graphics award a game had to have both style and technical prowess. Metal Gear Solid 4 is not the best from a technical standpoint (that goes to our runner up), but it has a combination of amazingly high-quality visuals and a unique style of its own that makes it our choice for best graphics of 2008.".Please Log In to post.
