LMFAO @ Gears 2 in second place. 7 hours of gameplay and having to wait up to 30 minutes to get online. yeah sure thats a great game. and this further proves the major disconnect between gamers and critics, GTA4 was and still is highly overrated.

Professor Layton (and the Curious Village) is a adventure/puzzle game for the DS. It a very good game. I wish Nintendo would bring the second PL game to NA already.

what does nichE have to do with anything concerning GotY? and how the hell does a AA beat out a AAAA by 8 spots? Mind boggling... Mario Kart Wii while fun is not the second best game of the year come on CNet. Why does every site feel the need to stir up controversy with these lists when they know MGS4 and Fallout should be in the top 5?
