no, no and maybe
from how well the two prvious sold I might agree with you on that last point, but you have to take into recognation, this game has gotten 10's already, something COD4 won't do
I must say...the marketing for Bioshock has been...well...nonexistant. why they're not investing strongly into the advertising of a game that they claim to believe in is beyond me.Dreams-Visions
who are the developers?
I agree.. CoD4 will easily be better..
Both will have amazing 10 hour single player campaigns but CoD4 will have an incredible multiplayer experience that can last 100s of hours.
Of Course the fanboys will ignore what i just said..
Huxley_04
bioshock is said to be 20 hours, and there will be an alternate ending if you play through it a second time.

20 hours? I find that hard to believe.. plus.. who wants to play a 20 hours FPS?

Well ifit is non-linear enough, sure. Plus in bioshock there are so many ways to go through levels i dont think it will get old very fast.
Call Of Duty 4 will be GOTY , it will sale more, it will be better period, and itll look better.xjet039wrong. because nothing can "sale" more than anything. :)

2k games.
No no no. Irrational Games. A very great development team. 2k is simply publishing.

No, you're ignorant: and all you want is attention. :|

i agree with you.

Further supporting TrueReligion_'s previous statement about ignorance.Let's see...
Bioshock is non-linear. COD 4 will likely be linear.
Bioshock has RPG elements that allow you to customize your character and weapons.
Bioshock is playing on a formula similar to games like STALKER, Deus Ex, and System Shock. COD 4 is playing on the standard shooter formula.
And as for multiplayer, nobody really wants it in Bioshock, so it doesn't really matter. The game will likely have enough replay value so that multiplayer wouldn't matter. Besides, deathmatch in Bioshock? That would be pretty lame. >_>

Jeez, I usually agree with you. :?

Though your list is nice, it completely misses the whole point of Bioshock.
The weave. The weave the developers have made. The weave of story, gameplay, evolution, feelings... The way that the developers aim the game at you. The fact that you aren't just fighting enemies in a open world but instead you are an evolving creature just like everything else in Rapture. For what Rapture has become is a world of its own. A world that saw an ultimate end which in turn led to a new beginning. We aren't in a world just infested with enemies. Instead, we are in a living system that has developed and evolved on its own and its up to the player to adapt or die.

From the PC Gamer review I read, it seems like this game is going to make you feel like your a part of the story and enviroment. No FPS has accomplished this since HL2.

 ten hrs, COD has had some short singleplayers, but ten hrs seriously, it taken some of the best videogame reviewers more than three times that to play through the singleplayer

nono, you and them. people that defend the game always seem to miss the most important part. Besides, quoting my wall of text just brings more attention to it ;).
I doubt it. Even if the game gets GOTY and looks better and sales better it does not make it the better game.smokeydabear076
That can be said about every game out there. It all comes down to opinion. The TC's opinion is that CoD 4 is going to better than Bioshock. I totally agree. Deal with it.

And his opinion is based on absolutely nothing. At least back up your opinion with some facts. Deal with it.
[QUOTE="Shusty_lives"]I think you want to be different to just get attention.xjet039
no all i see in bioshock is using special magic technicks what if it only had a gun.
well if that was so there aer still the RPG elements and each gun has 3 ammo types[QUOTE="smokeydabear076"]I doubt it. Even if the game gets GOTY and looks better and sales better it does not make it the better game._AsasN_
