COD 4, Mario Galaxy, and Halo 3 came out half a decade ago.

Between someone saying Halo 3 is the best game ever from that year, someone saying STALKER is the best game ever and Crysis is the best game ever, I am surprised we still have morons who don't know what an opinion is while claiming they are right, everyone else is wrong in their assessment of which game is the best.

Plus in terms of score (the only way we can accurately measure objective value of a game), the best game that year is Super Mario Galaxy, followed by Bioshock, so you are ALL WRONG.

mass effect and the darkness also came out that year. those were the 2 games of 2007 that really surprised me.

Makes me have mixed feelings. On the one hand I have fond memories of Galaxy and Halo 3. On the other hand it makes me remember how much I hated COD4. But that's ok, because at least that's a reminder of how much the COD series has improved over the years. I may not have liked COD4, but at least it eventually paved the way for the awesome Black Ops a few years later.

It makes me have buyers remorse, why did I ever waste money on Halo 3 and Mario Galaxy? Especially Halo 3. COD 4 kicked it's ass, it is the only great game up there you mentioned.

Halo 3 and Mario Galaxy are so overrated.

It's crazy how long this gen is lasting, but I don't like shooters and Super Mario Galaxy was one of my least favourite Marios this gen. Galaxy 2 had a much bigger impact on me and New Super Mario Bros. Wii had much better level design.

Crysis is not good, it just looks good. It's game play sucks and is not the best looking game anyway, that is UC3.

Never played STALKER, it might have a better campaign than COD. But nothing beats COD when it comes to online.

I have to agree with him regarding SMG in its style of graphics. Then again, a realisticly designed mario game would be straight creepy...

Oh yea, and putting autoaim in a FPS takes the challenge out of it.

Hmmm. Crysis vs UC3......

I like Crysis better to be honest. But, UC3 isn't half bad either. UC3 definitely does buildings, structures, and other man-made stuff better. It's just the lower res and lack of proper AA that dings it. Crysis is better out in the forest. But, its structures are pretty plain. It's not even close to UC3:
