I don't think they're sick of it, yet. I am 100% sure it will sell great and better than the vast majority of games on the market.
EDIT: I give it two more games before it dies.
Black Ops2 has sold 4 million less copies than MW3 and COD Ghost has less pre orders than BLOPS 2 had. Looks like the numbers are heading in the right direction, finally.

It won't go away overnight but I bet GTA V outsells it overall and Battlefield 4 outsells it on next gen consoles.Â

Oh GTA V will definitely outsell it overall. Maybe BF4; I don't know much about those games.
I wonder what the next big thing will be. Â Whatever it is, it needs to get here fast so I can b*tch about it on a forum.
Good. The sooner they realise they need to change the better. I don't want CoD to disappear, just get good again

Lets not give people too much credit. Need at least another decade or so of the same old shit until they even come close to waking up.
There was an article on gamespot of a COD dev talking about how they won't change anything radical to the series, otherwise they would lose appeal.
Yet the radical change of the multiplayer in COD: Modern Warfare was what made the series so huge in the first place. If you change nothing the series will become stale and people will eventually become tired.
Perhaps not this game but like someone in this thread said: give it 2-3 more games and if they leave everything unchanged, people will move on.
Well obviously they are below. Cause now you have to dropp $400-$500 along with that $60 while with previous games you just had to drop $60 cause you already had the console.http://www.gamespot.com/news/activision-destiny-has-potential-to-be-billion-dollar-series-6412402

To be honest as much as I hate cod I think it will remain as the most popular frenchise pretty much forever unless there is some sort of videogame crash like in 1983. The reason is simple, nowadays call of duty is pretty much like a sports game, there many times where games like Fifa never introduced any innovative gameplay elements compared to the previous game in the series and it still sold like hotdogs, the same happens with call of duty.
I love Call Of Duty and am excited at the brave new turn Infinity Ward have made to the series, however its seems alot of people don't share my excitement! I predict if this entry flops, we will just go back to having the monster-sellers that are Black Ops and MW in alternate years, which still is certainly not a bad thing!
No shit. It's August and they haven't shown any multiplayer footage, only underwhelming single player footage.
I'll probably end up buying it, I like SnD too much.
This is the first COD game i havent pre-ordered...Â
After MW3, BO & BO2 I lost all hope in the series, so I'll wait for a few reviews, watch some gameplay vids and check out the general opinion in forums before I even think about getting the game..
when it comes to shooters the likes of Arma3, BF4 & Killzone:SF will surely be more than enough :)
