Yes. I think it needs to end. There isn't much they can do at this point besides recycle through what already has been done.
Don't buy halo, zelda, mario, gow(both god and gears), sports games...... They're all just re-skinned sequels. There are a lot more examples but these are the one i thought of. Really if you don't like it you probably want to the gaming industry to die...CoD needs to die. With black ops it is going to be the same stuff over and over. DON'T BUY BLACK OPS! It is just a re-skinned version of mw2! Let cod die already! Don't be tricked into buying it. We need to let them know we are not buying their crap anymore.

[QUOTE="DethSkematik"]As much as I dislike Activision, I have to admit they're doing a good job with Black Ops from what I've seen so far. roflcopter317
What? It is just mw2 with even MORE cheap killstreaks.
dont get me started on cheap killstreaks, bring back COD4.[QUOTE="roflcopter317"]Don't buy halo, zelda, mario, gow(both god and gears), sports games...... They're all just re-skinned sequels. Yes but all of those series sequels improve the previous game unlike CoD.
Nah it makes a lot of people happy, why would I want to take that away from them? seriously what sort of person would want that? its not like they are stopping me playing my favourite genres...

# Players can now record, manage, edit and upload in-game video clips to their file share via "theatre mode."CoD Points
CoD Points are a new major feature of Black Ops. CoD Points will become the new in-game currency and will allow players to buy weapons, attachments, and Contracts. In addition to this, players are also allowed to wager these points in certain game modes.
Contracts
Contracts are a new system in addition to the ****c challenge system in Black Ops. A player is able to buy a contract with CoD Points, which will then direct them to complete an object. Completion of a contract will yield a higher CoD point payout than what was originally paid for the contract itself.
Wager Matches A new mode with a separate ranking structure than the standard online modes, will allow players to gamble with their money. However, only the top three will receive the prize. They will be placed into one of four random modes:
*One in the Chamber

* Sticks and Stones
* Gun Game
Create a cl a ss
* Create-A-cl a ss 2.0 will allow players to customize their appearance in addition to their loadout. Players may see what their character looks like while choosing a **** as the player's basic appearance will be determined by their Tier 1 Perk. Players will also be able to choose a Facepaint pattern.
* Some sights such as the Red Dot Sight can use custom reticules which includes choice of shape and color.
* Gun camouflages will be featured in Black Ops and will be far more numerous than in previous Call of Duty games.
* Players' clan tags are engraved onto their guns.
looks like improvements to me.

You asked for improvements. He provided. It doesn't matter if they're original or not.Why would anyone think Black Ops is just a "reskinned" version of MW2? It's a completely different time period, completely different missions, and completely different characters. I'm excited about Black Ops. I've greatly enjoyed every Call of Duty game I've ever played, and I'm eager for more.
re-read what i wrote , sorry i had to edit my post as it stuffed up , much clearer now..anyways who cares if its original or not..its still an improvement. and as far as i know.. emblem editor . clan tag on gun , custom reticules , contracts havnt been done before.campzor

So now features have to be brand new to be improvements...? Failed logic much.
I guess for console ppl it's probably worth a couple more sequels. For me, CoD died the moment p2p servers were introduced :(
