CoD4's campaign is HORRIBLE!

Don't call me a fanboy because I own the game and I LOVE the multiplayer.

But the campaign is probably the dullest FPS I've ever played. It was absolutely terrible.

It had a lot of flashy things like nice graphics and music, but the actual gameplay fell flat on it's face.

QFT, it was rather dull and the last few missions were down right cheap...

No it's not terrible..

Go play Clive Barker's Jericho or Blacksite Area 51 and then try to tell yourself COD4 campaign is terrible.

Yeah I remember the first act of the game there was like 8 missions and I saw there was gonna be 3 acts in the game, seeing that I thought it was gonna have 8 missions in each act, then I get to 2nd Act and I see 5 or 6 missions and I was a little disapointed... then I see the 3rd Act with only 3 missions or something I got sooo pissed.. Thank God the online portion was good

I thought the campaign was done proper..It had everything i would expect in a IW COD...I found if you play the game on hardened/vet...you are drawn deeper into the game...

Gameplay was spot on...what did you not like about the gameplay..

campaign was epic and of mediocre length. i dont understand wut other game compares to it in sp other than the hl series. u cannot deny there were some incredibly well thought out missions. and if u think its cheap or wutever its obvious u have to conform to the games play style instead of going rogue and tryin to blaze ur own pathrymill2

I thought it was good enough to be worth playing once through so I wouldn't call it horrible but I agree the multiplayer is much better.

the ONLY bad thing about the story was it was too short. couldn't get enough of it.

In terms of its scenarios, I just think GRAW and GRAW-2's battle scenarios were more believable and appropriate to the genre. I think being given more control over your squad AND over accessories like the UAVs added to GRAW's realism.

I think the only two missions in COD4 that actually felt genuine were the first mission aboard the ship, and the airplane assault epilogue.

I agree with the TC. I've been bored out of my mind with the gameplay so far. I'm 2 or 3 levels past the "guily suit" level, which itself was total garbage btw, and I couldn't care less about the story at this point. It's just a mess. It feels like a first person SOCOM with way more buggy issues. Yay for failing script events! (reload last save point).
