[QUOTE="shadow8585"]It boggles my mind how a select few multi console owners are still buying the ps3 version...I own both and am not making that mistake. Oh well theyll regret it when theyre bored of gta 4 and we're goign back for seconds in terms of dlcPhazevariance

I invest at least 200 horus and 8 runs through each GTA game, so, I might aswell do it on the controller I am most comfortable with. Plus, the PS3 is getting DLC content (just not for a long time :P)

They may get DLC just not episodic content. So no extra and new play time.

who gives a toss seriously?? one of the r* team said the content will be things like an extra mission, while you are playing someone will come upto you and ask you to go murder this person or whatever....whooopidooo i get to kill some pointless person in a game which has no relation to the main story of the game... :| i look forward to the main game only

We can't comment on the DLC's value as nothing has been mentioned about it other than rumours. Some say it's the size of Vice City/SA and others says its an extra mission or two. Its probably big otherwise MS wouldnt have signed the $50m for the exclusivity for it.

the team has stated already the content is not size of vice city and san andreas they put that rumor straight. but one of team did say its more like extra missions rather than extra towns and what not. fair enough ms paid alot of money for it so maybe it will be like 10-20 missions extra for each DLC but again who cares! the game will already have loads of sidequests, races, main story quests and everything

Saying "who cares' is like saying "i could have a $20 bill or $100 bill, but they are both bills, so who cares if i have to have the $20 bill only". Yes its not cold hard evidence, but some of the facts are interesting nonetheless. if the fill rate difference and the read speed of bluray are actually true, then the PS3 is doomed to be a low end PC.

no its not actually. its more like 20 note and 20 note with some loose change. the DLC of xbox gta4 will not be as big as ppl are saying it will be. its not rumor either the guy straight out said the content is not full cities its more like extra missions. fill rate?? wow xbox version has slightly better textures meaning ps3 version is complete flop. no one cares for fanboy trolling

Only advantage for the 360 is the dlc, and i couldn't care less about that. So i prefer the ps3 one.

That sites creadibility is laughable. THere is no "SUPERIOR" Version of the game. Imagine the PS3 version as a DVD, and the 360 version as the same DVD, but you get a few Director Commentarie Speacil features down the line.

Devs who make Blu-Ray games use redundant data. This means that, because Blu-Ray has soooooo much space, they duplicate data that is read most often from the disc onto multiple places on the disc so that the laser doesn't have to travel far to access it.

In addition, Blu-Ray is being adopted slowly by PCs and Macs. Please remove that blindfold over your eyes called fanboyism.
