it's good for it's own games as is the 360 controller for it's own games.

only thing that sucks about the six-axis is the super light weight; I'm not a fan of it.

krunkfu2

and the wannabe triggers are weird

It does feel awkward but not because there is anything wrong with it, I'm just so used to my 360 controller now. I like the new R2 and L2 triggers but I'd have to get used to them. If I had to make any complaint I would say its too light, making it feel fragile, and no rumble.

Tried using a PS2 pad after using the S-Type and the 360 controller and the Dualshock just felt so kiddy, way to small to feel like a proper controller.

And the left stick position on the Dualshock is so wrong.

[QUOTE="emmel05"]I've been playing my 360 for a while now, and recently my brother bought a ps3 and i played it a few times, and i have to say the biggest problem i had with it was the controller. It felt small in my hands, and the R2 and L2 buttons feel really weird to me compared to the xbox 360 controller. I don't know if it's just me, but has anyone else experienced this? Javy03

I have been using the Duel Shock since PS1, there is not controller in the world that I (key word) am more comfortable with, and I am sure the same goes for many other gamers who owned a PS2.

Ditto

No, its infact the best controller, thats why the same design has been used for 3 generations.EVOLV3

I agree, You dont see any Ps fans complaining about it at all.

they're both different, certainly.

i actually would like the new triggers if they were concave as opposed to convex, it feels wierd this way.

I hate the stick position on the 360 controller but I'm sure I could get used to it if I had to.

The triggers ruined the PS3 controller IMO.

I would really consider buying a PS3 even more if a 3rd party company released a 360 design controller for the PS3.

I think both controllers are fine, but I have always enjoyed the Xbox controller design more.

Iv owned a PS PS2 and now a PS3 so naturally i would feel the PS controller is better for me, but i will admit the xbox360 controller is better for FPS anything else it sucks at compared to the PS controller IMO.

At first I didnt like the triggers that much, but I guess overtime its better, my only complain is, it would be better if they had more grip on the triggers.

It just feels so awkward. It'll take me a while to adjust when I get my PS3.

I agree that the 360's sticks are better placed.

How about you though? Dont you hate that terrible 360 dpad?

GunSmith1_basic

Well most games dont use the dpad any longer except for maybe fighters ( a very small genre at this time), and even then some fighters are trying to move away from the dpad.

Yea it does feel wierd. And i own a PS2. I remember taking it out of the box, looked @ my friend & was like, WTF is this? And jokingly made like i was gonna throw it. It just feels hollow & cheap. Besides that, when i played Burnout on PS3, i realized how much more i liked the feel & placement of X360's analog sticks.

The L2 and R2 buttons were very odd at first but you will get used to them after a short while. I wouldn't go as far as to say the controller is better than the 360s but I would also not go as far as to say it is the worst.

I kinda prefer it a little bit more because i have smallish hands. But it's the D-pad that makes it better than the 360 pad,it's alot more responsive.
