How in hell some 360 fans after all the crap they threw at sony for selling the PS3 at $600 and $500 and call it expensive are ok with this low spec over priced 720.? Where are the Hermits.? Here is the true about the 720. Is a 1.2TF machine by leaks,that is 7770 level GPU which is $99 dollars to any joe gamer on PC,to MS in millions is like $25 dollars,the APU sony is using is more powerful and say to cost $85 dollars,this has to be even cheaper. It has DDR3 which is cheap,with ESRAM. If the 720 doesn't have a 7950 or 670 GPU it should in no way cost $500 dollars that is a joke,at $300 MS will lose little if anything on hardware on the 720 by leak specs,they loss $125 on each 360 at launch but the GPU was ahead of its time,and the 3 core CPU wasn't common in any way on PC,and still the unit was $399 and $299. The 720 at $500 with those specs is a down right robbery,is so much over priced is not even funny,MS is doing this so that people byte on the $299 and commit them self to xbox live,who ever pay $500 for a non live unit is a sucker,no wonder they have an internet require policy by leaks,few people will go for the $500 model if any. .tormentos

LOL you should take your own advice and get some common sense.  Common sense will tell you that fanboys are going to be hypocritical, ignore facts, play up rumors (or play them down) as much as possilble.  It's even worse being since it's on some anonymous discussion board where many people post simply to troll (and get attention).

According to SW, I shouldn't have any games to play on my 360, but then I look at my backlog of 6 amazing games I've yet to play just sitting there on my shelf. SW is not for common sense. It is for poking whatever faction you want to bother with a stick and hope they get buthurt for the lulz. It certainly been fun poking cows with the P$4 charging for online play since its not out of the question and $ony could sure as hell use the revenue.

So when the rumor is sony will charge for online play,is valid to assume it without any indication coming from sony,but when all rumors point at MS,making a cheap console that requires always online connection for $500 dollars and $299 with subsidized plan it most be false and we have to wait,even that other threads are popping already comparing this scheme to the PS4 and assuming the PS4 will be $500. So is ok to assume the PS4 will be $500 out of nothing,and compare it with the $299 subsidize 720,but is not ok to scorch the 720 on those same terms based on what leaks say the console has inside.? Well speaking the truth no matter what people say both consoles are gonna be pretty much expensive, that sucks.
Gone are the days of 250-300 devices...

While supporting PS4 I can't deny the fact that M$/Sony and even Nintendo are here simply for the profit and are "scamming" people the best they can.
Of course some are over doing so all we can do is just support the lesser evil.

but bu bu  console =/= PC.  You say it all the time yet you want to directly compare console parts to PC parts.  Also there is more to the cost of building a console than just buying the parts.  There is R&D, paying someone to actually manufacture it, paying AMD for their CUSTOME parts, paying for shipping, the cost of the kinect, the cost of paying software developers, there are numerous expenses you have to factor in when it comes to actually making a console.  We aren't talking about some guy in his house ordering parts off newegg.  There is massive overhead.  One that you have no idea how much the actual cost to opperate is.  So how can you say that $500 is too much?
