The 720 at $500 with those specs is a down right robbery,is so much over priced is not even funny,MS is doing this so that people byte on the $299 and commit them self to xbox live,who ever pay $500 for a non live unit is a sucker,no wonder they have an internet require policy by leaks,few people will go for the $500 model if any. .Wickerman777

Another thing: Since the 7790 is shipping with 14 CUs there's always the chance the Nextbox has gotten a slight upgrade to 1.4 tflops. That's still kinda crappy (PS4 ain't no beast when it comes to graphics processing either but Xbox's alleged specs sure are making it look like it is) but better than 1.2.

But since its GPU is said to basically be a 7790 and because the 7790 has 14 compute units in it then it seems reasonable to me that Nextbox might have 14 CUs rather than 12. Not saying it will but just that it could. That would still be pretty underpowered for a console in 2013 imo but would be a slight improvement at least.

Don't know why you keep bringing up the speed. Of course the PC version runs faster since console cooling isn't as good. I never said I thought the one in Xbox would go over 800 mhz. That's why I said 14 CUs and 1.4 tflops. But again, might not happen at all. But since it has 14 in the 7790 it having 14 in Nextbox seems possible to me.
