Awesome. Now please mention what these great 360 exclusives are gonna be? Also this thread has WAY too much opinion in it. You can't say "This looks good and people like it but I don't so it doesn't count." That's ignorant.

Also I agree with whoever said GoW III and The Last Guardian > All, but of course TLG may not come out this year.... I hope so though, it looks amazing, could be a new console graphics king. If not it'll at least have one hell of an art style.

It doesn't have to be innovative to be good (like Uncharted 2). Anyways this is why Reach will be amazing:

- The single player is going back to the CE roots

- Will have improved Forge and Theater modes

- Huge enviorments

- Large scale battles

- More awesome vehicles

- The same refined controls with four player splitscreen online and offline

- Firefight mode

- A brand new engine

- A more darker and grittier story

You can't shoot the guns. The characters do it themselves so no.

I meant that you can't manually control the shooting such as in any other shooter where you can move your crosshair while firing and control your firing. In VC you just move, aim, and let the character do their shooting animation.

But you have to understand that while the games I mentioned have shooting in them they play completely different from each other. Like in Splintercell you can finisha whole level without even firing a single shot that's why they are considered to be more than just shooters.

Modnation Racers isn't a shooter at all. and yes, Splinter Cell Conviction has a level wherein you dont fire a single bullet. But what bout the rest of the levels? i believe a gun is your main weapon, or a weapon that is required to be shot. see the difference? Conviction even has cover, crosshairs, ammunition, etc. so where is that one excellent 360 game that doesn't involve shooting?

Weknow next to nothing about Agent and it's release date and Last Guardian is not slated for 2010 its just TBA.

From both of those lists only Alan Wake, Halo Reach & Crackdown 2 on the 360. Heavy Rain, GoW3, GT5 and Last Guardian on PS3. Splinter Cell is and always will be Metal Gear Lite. Sorry but more PS3 games interest me this year.

In the end it doesnt matter though because Mario Galaxy 2 & Metroid Other M > all, Nintendo will continue to print money while Lemmings and Cows fight over 2nd LMFAO

Edit: Add Modnation Racers to the PS3 list also and MAG

I disagree, but either way, PC>PS3 and 360 lineup. Why? STALKER + Civilization V + Dawn of War II expansion + StarCraft II(I don't care for the series but millions do). Of course, none of that will matter if Earth No More comes out this year, since PC, 360, and PS3 gamers will all be able experience the best thing to happen to gaming since the introduction of home consoles.

Just because a game has a gun does not make it a shooter.

SC Conviction is not a shooter, neither is Alan Wake.

Even those games you listed involes shooting. The 360 needs some games that don't involve using firearms as a weapon. That's why I'm currently favoring the PS3 line-up.

okaayyyy then. sooo...in the majority of the game, Alan Wake doesn't shoot at all? seriously. i was hoping Alan Wake would be more like the very first Silent Hill or something, but with all the gameplay that theyve shown, it always involves shooting those zombies (well, shooting light, that is). seriously. lol, 'no matter how big or small?'. that's more that a lame excuse. if a game consists of 60% shooting, then it's a shooter. simple as that. Alan Wake doesnt have platforming. it only has about 3 things: shooting, exploration, puzzle-solving. do you think out of all 3 core elements, what would be most used? or do you still want me to explain further? i wouldnt have called Wake a shooter, but as more gameplay vids are released, it turns into more of an action game than anything else.
