Capcom really seems to be trying to break into the PC market. RE4, DMC 3-4, Onimusha 3 and now Lost Planet. However if they want to do well they are going to need to start doing better ports.
Wow..if you have a nice PC..their really is no reason to get a 360. All that needs to come to PC is Mass Effect (which will likely happen) and the PC has almost all the 360 good games.

Thats the idea, heck we are even having thier Online System (but PC vs PC remains free).

I don't think MS cares, as long as they have money in their pocket from Vista or the 360- theya re happy. In fact i'm pretty sure they'd rather push Vista over a games console.

True. I got Vista on Campus for cheap, haven't even installed it yet..waiting for it to progress.

yeah I'd still rather a 360 as that will just run as soon as I plug it in...or if it doesn't you just send it back. PCs have so many little bugs... Plus a comp that can run all 360 ports would probably cost more than a 360 anyway. (don't flame me with that "I CAN BEULD A PC FOR TEW HUNDERD DOLLARS!!!" stuff. I said probably.)
I know I'm in the minority here but I thought LP sucked, shoot stuff, pick up glowing orbs, solve puzzle, fight a boss with a pattern. It was every Japanese developed shooter I have ever played done once more. It did what it did well and it sold tons of copies but I was pretty sick of it after the first couple of levels. Do yourself a favor when you are at the counter and ask for Psi-Ops instead.

No, I agree with you. One of my friends bought it and couldn't stand it, so he gave it to my brother who wanted it, he didn't like it, so now I have it, and I couldn't put up with it long enough to get past the 3 level. So lots of ppl I know don't like it, massivley overated.

well with xbox and pc both running dx it shouldn't be to hard, its the ps2 port that haven't worked to well

That's why you download it, you wouldn't be buying anyway, at least people can enjoy the game.

So you've never downloaded music or a movie before? Like you said yourself LP is a rental at best(since it's short and you have nothing to do after), I'm not going to buy for sure, might as well download it since I can't rent it.
If anything it will force devs to actually create games that have some replay value.
