Is it better to have a $1,000 PC or a PS3, Wii, 360?

why can't you just stay on topic? and a $1000 pc has more power than all consoles combined and since ps3 and x360 have basicly the same game why get both?

X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PC (it can't handle games from after mid-late 2006, but I still game on it often).

As for older systems that I still use: X-Box, PS1, SNES, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast. My PS2 just died.:cry:

It's going to depend completely on the person. I'd rather have a gaming PC than any combination of the current-generation consoles. Not only because I prefer the games on PC, but also because the consoles fail at anything other than gaming (most notably, of things important to me: media center capabilities.)
