Survival games are already blocked on steam for me. If you've played one, you've played them all.

If you are dying to play one though, I'd recommend Don't Starve.

Bunch of crafting games. Keep them. I've had my fill.

These games are fun with friends. I like 7 Days to Die.

I had a dedicated server set up so my group of firends could play whenever in a 'persistent' world.

Same with Factorio, though it's pretty light on the survival side and focuses more on the engineering and automation building.

Great game (at least on PC)

Stranded Deep is good but in my opinion needs a bit more content.

If I had to choose between the two I would select The Forest.

I have both games, and I like both games, just giving you an FYI

Even on PC, this was a straight up pass for me.

I've already got Conan. Played it for a few months and lost all interest. Might check out Fallout 76.

Ark has been on PS4 forever. Are the other two multiplayer? I'll check them out if they are... but I don't think they are. I'm actually just waiting for DayZ which is another long time PC game.. lol

My gaming PC is used for playing old console game from different generations. That's PC's saving grace...even then many of those games do not run properly or are filled with glitches and are just better off being played on their native console.

I'd never suggest PC to anyone who cared about main stream gaming.

Only If someone needs a hobby just to waste time and tinker around like a retired elderly gentleman with few social activities...I'd suggest a PC as a primary platform.

if Street Fighter was to make a modern 3D version of its game, yes, the combat would be very similar to Spiderman.

Given that the vast majority of what you do in the game Spiderman is combat sequences its a fair comparision.

the vast majority of what you do in Spiderman is what? combat. what kind of combat? the exact kind of combat that if street fighter made a game in 3D you would have to admit would be very very similar. would it be the exact combo moves? perhaps not. would it be the exact skins? of course not.

I think you get confused with 'different skin' means 'completely different game. for example, Battlefield vs Battlefront. pretty much the same exact game, just different skin

while his comparison of of a 1st person high action diansor fighting and base building game like Ark is just the same as a 2D single player game called Dont Starve is stupid and everyone here knows it

speaking of, there is a new trend in the indie market which is using Unreal Engine

why? because they are now using the same pricing model as Unity is so expect to see a f ton of games like this one, which actually looks better in game

But going by available data, PC is already the most mainstream gaming device on planet Earth. By far. So a little too late on your non suggestions.

1. One of the the "saving graces" of PCs is it's capability to play most major games (most AAA/AA multiplats), and the best version of them. Other than PC online exclusives, multiplatform titles are the most popular and biggest category of games played by main stream gamers. These are almost all better on PC and most frequently released on PC. Why aren't you using your "gaming PC" for these? You play the shitty version of most games on your PS4? Why?

2. One of the "saving graces" of PC gaming is having several near exclusive genres, or the being best at popular genres. The most played and popular genres on earth are Either exclusive to PC or are most played on PC. Nothing is more main stream than PC Online (non web/browser titles) on Earth at the moment. Battle Royale, FPS, RTS, MMO, MOBA. Hell, one PC moba alone has more players than PSN.

3. One of the "saving graces" of PC is competitive gaming. This is near nonexistent on PS4 other than a few fighting games. PC has several times more, accross more genres, with exponentially more players. PC also makes up 99% of E-sports. PC has the most Twitch views. PC is main stream globally. More so than any 1 console. Main stream.

I wouldn't have to suggest PC to anyone who cares about main stream gaming - because they are already playing on PC. PC has the highest number of main stream gamers and games when looking at all available player data. It isn't even questionable

Even the biggest PC hater in SW history, Giovela, plays most games on PC. Because most games are multiplats and they run and look substantially better on PC. This isn't even including online, competitive gaming, or PC's exclusive genres which are the most popular and played on Earth.

You have to find better material because there is an issue when PC's biggest opponents game mostly on PC.
