Its like, with a console, I can hook it into a big 50+ inch HD TV, with surround sound, and lay back in my cushioned gaming chair with a comfortable, easy to handle controller that fits in my hands perfectly............... With PC, you get a tiny monitor screen, mundane sound, while all hunched over, with an awkward keyboard that is too difficult to handle and has sooo many buttons that have no actual use, it gets confusing. Only +? technically proficient graphics. All these PC fanboys be like "PC got better than sh!t console"..... ya, and? I prefer my consoles. Consoles are where my heart in gaming is. Without consoles, my game life would be non-existent. I have done PC gaming before.... sucked. Just too awkward, I just cant get over that keyboard. Uggg.Kevlar101
did you know you can hook your pc up to that tv?

Love how consolites b*tch about the cost of PC but apparently every single one of them owns a 50+ inch flat screen and surround sound BPoole96
I guess thats because their parents already own a TV heh

I use an eleven year old 25+ Sony Trinitron I found on someone's lawn that they were throwing away.
Before that, it was a TV without sound attached to a broken DVD player.
Hell, the stands they are on are a 100 year old ironing board and a TV stand from the 50s. Both came with the house.
We're not all rich PC owners.

Looks like my N64 setup from the 90s :P
I just hear the phrase "I'd rather just sit back on my fat comfy couch ($1000), play games on my 50" Plasma ($800), and listen to the crisp sound from my surround sound ($500+) instead of spending $1000 on a stupid PC."
And I'm not rich by any means either. I just make sure to set aside enough money towards games to keep me happy. I don't watch TV too often and I realized how stupid it was for me to spend $800 on a 1080p TV to play console games on since its just a blurry upscale no matter what.

He talked about what is more comfortable for him. I am the same way since I prefer console because of the comfort. I game on both pc and console but console more. Even though I could hook my PC to the TV I do not feel like dragging my PC out into the living room to enjoy the same comfort. My desk chair and monitor are both good just not tv and sofa good. I have a 23 inch monitor and a 46 inch tv.

The green thing is a circuit breaker (and each system is plugged into another circuit breaker) and I never have more than the TV and a single console on at a time. It's worked for me for about 6 years.
I'm a console gamer but wow you have no clue about pc gaming, a liitle screen I've got a nice 22in full he monitor which is good for play games like age of empires but I also have a 60in led tv which I can hook up my pc to, you can get an Xbox 360 controller and use that sat on the couch o and the graphics are alot better with mods, pc gamers dont hate consoles they just play better looking games, and it doesn't cost that much I went to a second hand store and got myself a half decent gaming rig for just £225 and if the graphics card isn't great I can go back and get atop of the range one for just 100. For me pcs are for strategy games and fps's as the keyboard and mouse is more acurate than a controller. When you start a thread please get your facts right first

Most of which you can just run off a pc with a 360 controller .... waste of space.[QUOTE="sailor232"][QUOTE="WiiCubeM1"]

No disrespect to your situation intended, just System Warring it up :PIf only there was some way to connect a TV and controller to a PC.LoegiAnd a way to DiY a cable from your computer room to your TV ... oh consolites never think of the obvious and make excuses.
I'm the exactly opposite. Cannot play with a gamepad if my life depended on it. I NEED a keyboard and mouse. Especially for stuff like FPSs and RPGs, most of the stuff that I play.

What makes you think you can't afford one?
PC is by far the cheapest system I have ever gamed on. My $600 PC from 2009 (when it cost $400 for Xbox, $400 for ps3, and $250 for wii) can play every game available including crysis. I get games for far cheaper, and there is a humungous library of free games, and a nice 30 year backlog to choose from.
If you want access to a library of good titles as large as the PC it requires thousands of dollars worth of consoles in comparison. It's totally worth it to buy a PC, even a cheap one, if you like games, and the best part is you don't have to sacrifice consoles to do it. You can buy those too.
Well TC maybe if you replace that pc running Windows 98 and get a real gaming pc you would understand why so many people prefer it, I gamed on consoles for yrs and my xbox has been replaced 4 times, the wii sucked and ps3 just didnt do enough for me so its collecting dust. I have bought a gaming pc a few months again and I havent played any consoles since. and btw I can connect my pc to my tv and when I play a multiplayer game there are more people playing at a time then you could ever experience on a console. Oh yea pc games also have mods which triple the value of most games and there are alot of free to play full games. Take that and shove it

Judging by the looks of your room you should be fixing your life and getting out your moms home. If this guy had a pc he could prolly afford to move out his moms house, all the games could be downloaded on pc for free. Consoles our holding back your future!!!!
