Probably, no definately been posted before but it deserves a refreshing visit to the first page of the board what are your views on consoles versus PC. My view is that consoles are terrific for what they are built to do. They are designed to play games and they do that well. PCs however, can complete all of the functions of a console along with the added bonuses of an Operating system for running utilities and other programs. Would write more but I'm extremely tired.

Last gen (N64/PS) the PC demolished the consoles. This gen it's the opposite.

Games on consoles are more fun and entertaining. Games on pc's are dull and boring, not to mention its uncomfortable to play at a desk and i get hand cramps on the keyboard.

In the days of the PS, N64 I would side with consoles but this gen, PC gaming just won me over and looking at nex-gen that won't change.

Here's my take: Some games don't feel right on a console or a platform. Civ IV, for example, I can't see playing anywhere but on PC. At the same time, I can't see playing Mario Kart or Burnout or a Sports Game on the PC. But that's just me. I'm too old to change.

...for now. With the growth of online console and internal hard disks, I suspect that in the future (maybe not this upcoming gen but the subsequent one) console games will have the same bug problems.

Pretend there is a bug in the game, a patch fixes it. Now if you had a bug in a console game there is no way to fix it.

Pretend there is a bug in the game, a patch fixes it. Now if you had a bug in a console game there is no way to fix it.

Because there are tons of "bugs" in console games, along with all them viruses and adware programs, good thing I got that firewall for my Xbox. :lol:
