Still, if you want HD graphics that's what PS360 is for. My point is that the Wii has shown that you don't need super hardware to be a successful system and be able to make great games. Geez I'm just like repeating my last post..

Your usage of the abbreviation etc four posts up gives the illusion that your list is longer. However the only games I can think of could be added to it are the Trauma Center games. All in all some nice games, but definately not a lot. It doesn't seem that this is going to change in 2008. There are some nice games, but it's no treat again. All in all this makes the Wii a nice console to own next to another HD oriented console.

Well those games don't add much weight to your list, but you admit that yourself. You are right on the VC point though; nothing beats being able to play the games I grew up with again. Nostalgia is priceless (for the rest.. :P)

Yes. This is the gaming industry, which is business. Wii has been hitting record sales and is still going. If a console sells extremely crap but has some good games, does that mean it "wins"? As far as I know, no.

it is a casual fest console. casual things don't last to long. like tickle me elmo. and don't bring upps 2 that system was a hardcore/casual dream. you need casuals but to keep the system going you also need hardcore gamers.

you now it is such a casual console when the lowest scored games out sells the other two. nin will see this and keep on making mario mini games. not bring something new to the table as ip's go.

Lets say the Wii has not outsold the 360 has of right now. Besides the month Halo came out the Wii has outsold the 360 each and every month in all markets. Is there any question that the Wii will not outsell the 360? Heck look at Gamestop that sold 1000s of Wii systems for full price last month and those customers will not get them until this month.

You have it all turned inside out. The PC/PS3/360 are missing out on A LOT (two words) of the future of gaming because their interface isn't on par with the Wii.

The biggest hinderance in porting mulitplats to the Wii is the interface. I'll conceed that. The biggest reason the Wii is getting is exclusives is it's controls. You can't make a solid Wii game and port it to these other systems.

So the question is who is missing out. The people who get the games that can be played on 3 other systems or the people who get the games that are exclusive? The Wii is an exclusivity magnet. It is truely innovative in an industry that desperately needed change. It is built based on the principles that saved the gaming industry in the 80's with the NES.

Also, lumping the PC,360,and PS3 together is going further to show that the PS3 and 360's are no longer consoles. Their the red headed stepchild of the PC. Their are moving in the wrong direction and are going to be beaten like a rented mule every time. Consoles aren't PC's and will never be able compete in that market. Sony and Microsoft are taking loaded tankers, parking them in their vault, and using them as ashtrays for their huge stoggies. eventually it's going to blow up in their face. PC is king and they are taking out all the things that seperate the console world from the PC world.

BIG News you geniuses: NINTENDO is wining because its CHEAP, and guess what most of the world is poor, thats why last year PS2 outsold most of new gen consoles, heck in South America PSone is still a popular console..

So yea.. Nintendo is selling more because of it´s cheapness, but If you can afford a PS3 or a 360 + a HD tv + broadband, the Wii is pretty much out of the picture.
