I Been seeing alot of nintendo is kiddie Post and alot of Wii is for Kids post. Most of these are lemming and sheep to ignorant to relize, all consoles are mad for younger audiences. A kid Finds GTA cool he finds GOW cool he thinks Mario is so 12 years old. The sad truth is all Consoles are for Kids more kids own Xbox 360,PS,Wii than people over 18. A console is user friendly any kid or non tech adult can put a cd and press power Kids can easly emerge themselves in Console Gameplay. But get a Kid to play Company of heroes and see how fast he says the game sucks(ages 8ish) but get the same kid to play Pimin and he's scream it's better than COH.

my Point is stop calling Nintendo a kiddie consoles if you own another Kiddie console cause if you go around and ask all the kids in your neighbor hood the best system more than likley your gonna here PS or Xbox from the Kids. and the kids will say not nintendo though thats kiddie. Like i said all consoles main market are kids.

PC on the other hand are bought by grownup services by grown up and good luck getting a kid to install a game and find the correct patches(and if he has anyinstal problems) and hope he can navigate the internet good enough to find FAQ if he has any problems after Install(like saying the CD isn't in the drive when it is.

Average PC gamer age
under 18 =30%
18 thru 35=26%
over 35=44%

Average Console gamer age
Under18= 40%
18thru 35=35%
over 35=25%

So who's Consoles is Kiddie? So i guess you lemming and cows should start saying nintendo is more Kiddie than the rest rather than just kiddie cause the stats don't lie all consoles have more players under 18, Sorry but 18 doesn't make you less kiddie 17 and under your still a Kid.

Who are you to say consoles are for kids? You realize that the PC is arguably the most used gaming platform across the world right? It's just not all games are high end.

pc gaming is great but its way to expensive and you have to upgrade at least one every two years and by then you will need to give your pc a big overhaul over it wont run new games well

Well, in that case, I look at it like this. I get to be a kid forever without any responsiblities, and PC users have to grow up and be responsible for the rest of their lives :P

So, theres a 'law' preventing people under 18 to purchase a personal computer? What am i typing on? A device of hitler or satan? Im under 18, i have a computer. I play games on my computer. I own consoles too, because i like games on consoles. And people who only judge games to be kiddy want to look grown up or 'cool' so play 'mature' games. People who cant enjoy games for bright colours or no AK47's are more childish than what the interpret kiddy games to be.

How does a Kid under 18 get 600 plus dollars in a credit card to pay for a PC? sure your parents can buy it for you but chances are there buy a kid a Console way before a PC cause of cost. and if you read the whole this is shows 30% pc users are under 18 so you lose. read before you post

I'm just worried about making SimCity 4, The Movies, The Sims 2, and Railroads! running. But everytime I try to play a Steam powered game like CS:S or HL2:DM, there's always someone on their bragging about their expensive $200 mouse they got for Christmas...Real mature.

The demographic for console's isn't confined to just under 18's. Are all 360 owners blood thirsty, pre-adolescent emo's? Certainly not.

Good question and your right they do not play those types of games but RTS and MMORPG. the younger ones are into BF2,Half Life 2 etc etc. i'm sure some over 35 may play some FPS but the majority are play RTS and MMORPG.

i'm pretty sure the most played genre of games for gamers over 35 are puzzle games like luxor or bejeweled.
