been enjoying the orange box, cod4,battlefield & garrys mod lately.

Btw to the OP, how can you possibly enjoy crysis? the game runs terribly.. its not well optimized at all and not even the best setup can play it smoothly.

It seems that the real determinant of whether Crysis runs well or not is the resolution. I run it fine on High, but since my monitor is only 1280x1024, and I prefer widescreen, I keep Crysis' resolution to 1280x720 and get about 30fps or so.

I felt that way back in 2003 when I made the jump to PC.

I dont think there is a MP game for consoles yet that can match a MP game on the PC thats 3 or 4 years old.

Even though I still prefer PC I can now put in my console games and appreciate them.

I am willing to bet in 4 years when your current PC is starting to die you will get to a place where you can appreciate console games again. After the initial shock of how much better PC can be wears off.

I enjoyed Bioshock as much on the 360 as I did when I played it again last month after I upgraded to a new PC.

True, that's why when cows and lemmings go on and on about "gorgeous graphics" it just make me want to laugh :lol:taker42

If they are going on about how the game is sporting the best visuals ever or something, ya, then it is laughable.

But if is just a comment on gorgeous visuals the 360 and ps3 are plenty capable of making gorgeous, engaging games.

I am a big fan of visuals. But knocking the 360 version of a game like it should only be played on the PC is silly and pointlessly arrogant.

I like consoles because I enjoy paying WAY too much money for PC-like hardware features. Also, I am very afraid of the TERRIBLE things that are in a PC!! Like video cards! CPUs! Hard Drives! And,.... SYSTEM MEMORY!!! Eeeeekkk!!!!Demetri_OS

Seriously, though, the most frightening thing inside a PC case is the thermal grease. The stuff just sticks to anything.

I would give anything to be a PC gamer and I have tried but it's so discouraging when you try finding parts and you get like 100+ results. I have the money I suppose but I don't know wtf to buy. I'll just start buying the parts that PC gamers advertise in their sigs because it's too damn cumbersome doing it all yourself.

Even though PC is my primary platorm i still luv my consoles.

Hell I just finished playing Some Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Golden Eye 64 4 player split screen toady. awesome as always

Lol, anyway i agree with TC, I also just got into PC gaming and since then i have hardly played my console, im still going to use it for upcoming 360 games but there is no denying that a gaming pc is superior to consoles. Iv also got almost the exact same pc as itsme but mines better......

LOL... in fact PC has the biggest game library compared to other systems

High end PC's are great , but to experience the things your computer can do you need a game that can use all of the computers power. But when you have so many multi platform games , you will only see a select few games on the computer that use the power that your computer will offer. Like crysis , and Far Cry (new one) , those games are great and yes , they look amazing , but its not going to be everyday that developers spit out games like that. Developers go where the money is ,and the money is in consoles. They are least expensive , and more people have them. What I mean is good luck playing games, finding games for that matter that are like Crysis day in and day out to keep your $$$$ computer busy. thepoop7
