[QUOTE="RyuRanVII"] Dragon Age 2 will compete with Devil May Cry 5, not The Witcher 2.

haha that was a good one.Yes... because TW1 had excellent combat, and you all played DA2... and we all played DA:O and will play DA2 for it's combat, and not the story and characters...
why does everyone who is agaisnt the witcher always bring up the combat as a con.. gamespot seemed to think it was greatNew battle mechanics, a fantastic storyline, and a gritty setting make The Witcher one of the most engrossing, mature RPGs to arrive on the PC in years.
The Good
- Dark, foreboding world that looks, sounds, and feels lived in
- Fantastic story populated by realistic NPCs with realistic problems
- Innovative new combat mechanics add depth in place of mindless clicking
- Cinematic visuals and a superb soundtrack.
"Don't be afraid of change. Even though The Witcher may scare off some people with inventive combat that replaces comfortable old rapid-fire clicking with rhythmic sword swinging, there is no need to avoid one of the deepest, most adult role-playing games to hit the PC in years."
"it's hard not to love the combat system. Battles are only a little more involved than the standard clickfest stuff, yet the mechanics always make you think about what you're doing and provide real satisfaction when you take out tough foes. Attacks also simply look cool, especially when you're jumping around slinging your sword in all directions in the middle of a pack of monsters."
