I will admit, keyboard and mouse in MUCH more accurate, but I just don't like it. I fells lame clicking a mouse to fire a gun. and walking holding down a button is weak also. It just feels unnatural to me. Pulling a trigger on a controller feels much better and is actually natural for shooting a gun. Walking also feels better for a thumbstick and controlling momentum. While keyboard and mouse is undoubtedly superior in a precision-sense...a controller feels much more natural and just feels plain better for games to me.reach3

Yeah because soldiers go around shooting stuff with a 360 controller. Is not natural to turn around like a tank.
That's just your opinion. You got used to controllers and probably don't play much with a mouse.

There's strengths to each method.
Like you say, the mouse is faster and much more accurate for aiming but the analogue stick feels better for movement and triggers feel more like those on a real gun.
If you want the best of both the Wiimote and Nunchuck combination is actually the best solution imo; analogue movement, triggers, and really fast and accurate aiming that actually feels more like pointing a real gun than any of the other methods.
I think a lot of people vastly underrate the Wii control solution.

No we use assault rifles, but they have triggers not clickers, like the 360 controller.I will admit, keyboard and mouse is MUCH more accurate, but I just don't like it. K+M is much more accurate and better for shooters... I have all systems and while I dont mind shooters on consoles, I'd rather play those on PC unless they're exclusives on PS3/360..
I don't mind using my 360 controller on the odd FPS game so long as it's singleplayer like Bioshock. I actually enjoyed using the controller on that game. That's it though. I use the controller mainly for TPS (eg Tomb Raider: Legend) and sports games.

I agree. The Wiimote and Nunchuck combo is good, but with Motion+ they're even better, since it allows for accurate off-screen aiming and turning. Here's a great example from Red Steel 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3ri5l5hLScIt's sad that Motion+ got so little support, even from Nintendo themselves.
On Topic: I have to admit that I like controllers more than Keyboard and Mouse, but from what I've seen both have their ups and downs.
I see where you're coming from. I'll take playing on PC anyday if I'm really feeling my game, because I demand precision and the most efficient method of control possible.
But I also like kicking back on my couch crusiing through a map on BF3, with my 360 controller. It certainly does feel better. Your thread title is sure making people rowdy lol. But I see where you're coming from, sometimes a controller is more comfortable and easier to control with thana KB/M.

Its obvious you cant read or you wouldn't have said that
Ill say it again. When youll play 1vs1 with a PC gamer and utterly destroys you , youll reconsider play the "natural" way. Simply because you wont have fun by getting killed instantly all the time. Then youll go K+M yourself to keep up , beleive me you will. But that wont happen so have fun with your controller.

So your argument is "KB/M is better but I personnally prefer the controller therefore Controller > Keyboard + Mouse for FPS"...
Wow...
If you want control and accuracy better go for the keyboard and mouse.
If you want simulation and "feeling" better prepare a couple of millions:

Personally I would take k+m to gaming and would spent the money in a Aston Martin.
The triggers in the 360 controller are a nice addition but I would never play a FPS with a controller if I have the option to play them with mouse & kb. The accuracy is just in a whole different level compared to a controller.

^ I really hate the new rules. Why even post? It's not like you're being funny.
Anyways, to TC: I actually agree that a controller has some benifits over k/m, even for FPSs. I think it's too quickly shrugged off as an inferiror playing method. With that said, I still prefer k/m.
