Flaming Hayabusa in Halo 3 8)

Jeez wasn't this predictable
I thought this would have at least more interesting and less cliched choices.
I read the Halo books and technically, that nano suit pwns the mjolnir
Frunku
You seem to have forgotten that the MJOLNIR armour has about 500 years of invested technology put into it since the dawn of the Nano suit, and then some.
So I don't know what books you've been reading :?
Try again buddy MC suit was made 500 years in the futureI don't know about Metroid but the Nano Suit pwns the Mjolnir anyay of the week in pure strenght and tech.
The Nano suit runs like 3x as fast as MC in normal mode and twice that in speed mode.
It has a regenerating armor mode that's like a shield.
It allows the user to cloak.
It allows the user to punch buildings and destroy them.
It allows the user to jump 5 meters vertically.
I read the Halo books and technically, that nano suit pwns the mjolnir, an it also pwns it in pure coolness.
Frunku
he survived a fall from lower orbit and can take alot more punishment then the other two could
as far as power goes
samus>>chief>>crysis suit
[QUOTE="Overthrow"][QUOTE="peaceful_anger"]You should have put up Samus's light suit. Tylendal
You mean Zero Suit Samus?
That just wouldn't be fair.
No, the Light Suit
Probably the best looking suit so far in the thread. I'm not digging the boom box on her middle plate, however.
This one:
(Pic that makes Marcus and co. look like sissies)

 Ew.
Maybe fashion-wise and physique wise, I do not go for the most masculine look in the world, but damn is that going overboard
It's a ****ing walking tank, get out of the way!
Unless the worlds they battle on have gravity at a similar level to the moon, that's some really impractical ****.
They get trained to be superhuman then they're chugged down by really stupid armour. You then realize what kind of demographic the tabletop game has
HEV Suit - Half-Life Series
Puts all others to shame.

Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but it definitely looks like it's a suit built for a damn purpose.
The Nano suit? Looks like some weird exoskeleton created by some avant-garde fashion designer from Italy.
Samus's suit? Honestly looks like it was made purely for Japanese cosplay.
The HEV suit looks like it was made for use with hazardous materials. I commend Valve for that.
I know most people on here dislike a lot to do with Halo, and that's no exception with the suit, but even this "motocross man's" armour looks like it was designed for a purpose. It looks like it was made to sustain damage, yet is versatile enough to move around freely in.

Even though I do like the Nanosuits and samus's elaborate looks, I couldent agree more with a sense of purpose.Chiefs armour looks like its supposed to sustain huge amounts of battle damage, and keep going and Gordons HEV suit looks like its designed for well as you said, dealing with hazardous materials.
I do think the other two look cooler, but in terms of practicality and suitability, nah, no dice.

How so? It does nothing.
?It injects morphine into the user.
That alone is more than enough.
And it can also talk to the user : O
But none of that is enough for me to call it great. It should be things you are able to actually do and the super human abilities it gives to the player/user for me to call it great, not just looks and what it's ''supposed'' to be doing. And the HEV suit lacks some of that.

Yeah that Light suit or whatever variation Samus was wearing in that pic on the other page makes me wanna play the entire Metroid Prime series.
I'm no engineer but I presume that there's a reason for the bottom layer of both HEV and MJOLNIR's suit to be some sort of flexible black material, whereas the top deals with radiation or wind and zero gravity or whatever the likelihood of the situation.
It reminds me of the problems of the bat suit in Batman Begins. According to Christian Bale, it looked sturdy and intimidating on camera, but he couldn't move his neck and said it was actually impractical in any real physical situation. It's probably how the idea of Bruce Wayne needing a new design for those extreme situations that took place in The Dark Knight came to light.
Oh, and MC looks like motocross gear. Lame.
goblaa
Umm no it doesnt, have u actually seen motox gear? I used to do it and i know they dont look similar (maybe the helmet is an exception in a flat kind of no googles and no pointy nose/mouth bit mind of way)

Well pretty much. Its not really a super hero suit, it does what its supposed to do, help the user survive in hazerdous enviroments, though personally I still think its pretty cool..
I'd say you are right about the flexible black material, as in the HEV suit its exposed around the neck region - as the wearer of the suit is technically supposed to wear a complimenting helmet with it (as other dead guys in HEV suits, in HL1 have shown), and im sure the MJOLNIR's armour would be similar - having the felxibility the tough exterior.Yeah that Light suit or whatever variation Samus was wearing in that pic on the other page makes me wanna play the entire Metroid Prime series.

Though the HEV suit looks pretty, well dainty compared to somthing like the MJOLNIR armour, it has the appearance its more about mobility and flexiblity, however it lacks the agressive combat focused stylings, that seem asthough it could withstand a torrent of arms fire. Not to mention the MJOLNIR is carrying a small shield.
Oh, and personally, I vote Chozo Power Suit. I like the somewhat outrageous look, and if you're discussing "my suit can beat up your suit," Samus wins hands down. Multiple energy shields, tons of powerful projectiles, no ammo for beam, energy whip, bombs, energized suit (Screw Attack, Speed Booster), can practically fly, immune to extreme temperatures, lava, and water pressure, etc. No wonder Samus' greatest enemy is always herself.Overthrow
So, Master Chief can flip over a tank without doing anything xD
